This one's not the most accessible, but it is completely playable. Haven't played in a while but I got to level 10 before I got bored.Works best with NVDA, although if I remember right I never could figure out how to get the gathering minigames to work and had to switch to JAWS for those.If I remember right, skill points are also easier to spend with jaws. The skill trees show up as a bunch of 0s, and there are 3 0s per skill for some reason. Again, you can use mouseover commands to determine which skill you're on, but this time the information appears at the bottom of the skill tree.NVDA can equip items. You can use mouseover commands to discover which item you're currently on and see it's stats, then click on it to equip it. Mouseover information appears near the item you're hovering over.Basic features:several quests spread across 3 actsCompanions that can level with you, give you passive bonuses and occasionally use special skills in battle.3 classes for you to mix and match: knight, wizard and rogue. You can have two each. Your primary class determines most of your skills, while your secondary class opens up a smaller skill tree. For example, if you pick knight and knight, you'll be an archknight and both trees will be knight related. However if you pick knight and wizard, you'll be a spellblade with some secondary wizard skills that will make you slightly more mana focused in the endgame. Wizard and knight would even be a different class called starblade, focused mostly on spells with a little more survivability built in later on.Fairly large skill trees to spend your points on. Skills can generally be levelled up to 5, and many skills have both a skill level and a player level prerequisite.Equipment crafting. Gather ingredients in the forests, gardens and mines and produce equipment and potions. Build enchants to further customize your equipment.Complex combat with status effects, elemental damage, monster capturing and collection, item usage and more.The game is effectively dead developmentally. Play if you're up for a challenge accessibility wise. Otherwise give this one a pass. The developer hasn't worked on the game in several years from what I can see on the forums.

Towns start you in the center, and you can scroll left or right. This is often how you'll find buildings or people to talk to. For the most part, buildings and villagers are in the bottom part to the middle part of the screen. Don't tap too high or you'll switch tabs or activate other things.Party rearranging works in the gathering. First you have to add monsters to your party by tapping on them, then finding their details view and clicking use. You can also remove them by tapping on them in the party and finding remove.Then you find your party, toward the top of the screen. You'll see the levels, how much experience they need to level, etc. This is very precise and difficult to do. Once you have your finger on a monster you want to move, you can use 3d touch to start dragging it, you'll feel a haptic vibration. Then you can drag it left or right, each will have a haptic effect and will say before or after null. You have to remember what positions your other monsters are in to arrange your party accurately.I don't know how this is done on newer devices that have removed 3d touch. I suppose you could double tap and hold to long press, but I haven't tried it.

This is another complex incremental clicker.Haven't played in quite a while, but basic feature list is as follows:Start as a stable boy. Become apprenticed to a wizard and work your way up through 6 tiers of classes.Classes include many different archetypes such as elementalists, focused elemental mages, battle mages and more.Explore locales, which are this game's version of dungeons. Some locales use the combat system, some test other stats and some use a combination.Train up at least a couple dozen skills, some class specific, to learn your spells and unlock actions.Actions include repeatables to generally earn currency or train skills and one time, which generally unlock a more permanent bonus.Equip your character with randomly-generated gear from a loot table, generally earned in the locales.Craft your own custom spells with spellcraft, combining the spells you've learned into more a more efficient form than casting each of them individually.Eventually, work your way up to crafting a wizard's hall. This lets you start other wizards and play other class paths while earning hall prestige. Hall prestige as well as special hall currencies allow you to unlock bonuses for all of the wizards in that hall.And more. The game is still being updated. Haven't seen a post about this here, but I wonder if someone hasn't talked to the dev already since there seems to be some strides toward accessibility.http://fifthaeon.comPlayable CCG with a few unlabelled buttons.Battlefield looks like this:Enemy's health, button to view enemy's crypt, enemies played cards.Your health, your crypt, your cards.resource collection buttons.end turn.your energy.your handThere's a tutorial in the game, but I'll explain how to play a round just in case the labeling throws people.When battle starts, you can select any cards in your hand to replace with a new draw. When a card is selected, below it's information you'll see something like virtual marker. Hit the done button when you're done.When it's your turn, you can play as many cards as you have energy to play. Energy works like this. You have a total energy cost, which is the top number of any card. So if you see something like this:4minotaurgrowth/smallgrowth/smallgrowth/small54This means the card takes 4 energy and 3 of the growth resource to play.Below that are it's health and attack values respectively.You gain total energy by collecting resources, generally one per turn. You can do this by clicking the growth, renewal, synthesis or decay buttons above the end turn button. One thing that's a little confusing is often when you click one of these, the game will say "You can't play a resource right now." But if your turn just started and you click one of these buttons, you will gain the resource and energy. You can always check by looking at the numbers below the buttons.When playing a targeted card, the game will tell you that eligible cards have a blue glow. For us, there's an icon that appears that says something like crosshair. If you see this below a card's info after clicking a card that needs a target, you can click on this card to target it.Battle is simplistic. Before you end your turn, you can select any cards that have not been played this turn, you'll hear a metallic clink sound. Any unit assigned to combat has a crossed-sabers icon below it's card info. Once you hit end turn, you'll see an attack button appear. This means if the enemy has any cards in play that can be attacked, you can now assign specific attackers to these cards by clicking on your attacker, then clicking on the target you want to attack. After that, your creature's attack is simply subtracted from the enemy creature's HP. There may be some effects in game that will modify combat slightly.When you go to open packs, you'll see 3 unlabelled buttons. The first lets you open a pack if you have one. The second lets you buy a pack for 100 gold. The third takes you back to the main menu.If you don't know what a button does, often tabbing over it or pressing B to move through the buttons will read a label on the button, if one exists.Note that I haven't tried this game with NVDA.

These are all semi-idle RPGs for iOS by TownSoft.Vanitas: Adventure and Grasslands and Agent of Adventure are similar in that you assemble a party of adventures and send them off to explore locales.Vanitas has character age, and when a character reaches 60 years old they must retire. It also has a reincarnation mechanic in which you get to keep certain benefits with the next character. Note that to enter buildings and talk to people, you need to toggle VoiceOver and tap the area of the screen where they are. In order to close some screens, you need to tap near the bottom of the screen with VO off, though not too low or you'll hit the ads. There isn't a sound when treasure chests appear in areas, so just tap around occasionally to see if one has appeared. To spend prayers, you just need to double tap the thing that says -1 with VO. Also, most fights are automatic. You can manually battle bosses up to level 15, but after that you either pay for the add removal package to keep manual battle or go to full-automatic battles. You can replay any battle you want to see from the history, though.Agent of Adventures is a pretty simplistic roguelike that is far more difficult. You can have more of a party right out of the gate. You also have to build your town using gold.The Gathering is a monster collection RPG of sorts with more of a storyline, at least in the tutorial. You may have to tap around to collect chests and use fountains, though in the tutorial you don't really have the option of doing this since dungeons are cleared so quickly. There's more emphasis on manual combat. Your summoner can learn skills from the monsters as you level them up.There's also one called Blue Sky Princess, which is another monster collection game combined with card combat. But I couldn't figure out a way to easily do the card combos, which requires timing the second card during the damage display of the first. The cards don't display with VO.

Disclaimer: Do not even try this game unless you're up for a lot of learning and fiddling around. It takes some work to play. Some knowledge of Japanese helps as well.This is a JRPG with some decent mechanics, collectable characters and weapons. I have yet to find any content that is unplayable on iOS with Safari.The biggest draw of the game is probably the massive amount of playable story, all of which VO can read. If you double tap while a character is speaking, it stops scrolling the text and brings it up in full so we can read it.Account setup takes a bit of work. You have to sign up with a Mobage account, which only works in Japanese as far as I know. I got through it because I know a little Japanese and I used iTranslate for what I didn't know.I've used Seeing AI to learn how some screens are layed out. A lot of things read with VO, including enemy HP in battle and the gauges for your charged attacks. Some things do not read at all though, like the pop-up menu and some of the quest icons.Battle can be a little confusing. The wiki helps here though in learning what skills and summons do. Some battles let you view a pop-up of the skill and some just use the skill when you double tap on it.I haven't figured out how to manually assemble a party yet, but there is an auto select. When the game asks you to pick a focus and element, you can just hit select for the defaults for now. I'll play with party management later when I have more time.I hope someone gets some enjoyment out of this. I don't really like the story so far. Not sure how long I'll stick with this since generally FFRK is my game of choice. Those are just cards that have no stats except a resource cost. Before anything is played, it brings up a pop-up that tells you what the card does and you can only play it if you're in the right phase.

They're in the same order. So if you see a card that says 0, 0, 0, 0, 6, that means it costs 0 resources to deploy and has 6 hit points. If a card just says 2, it's probably an event card and has no stats. If it says 3, 0, 2, 2, 0, it's probably an equip card that costs 3 resources to attach, and gives 2 attack and defense. If it says 4, 5, 2, 2, 6, it's a creature and costs 4 resources to deploy, deals 5 damage, has 2 attack and defense and 6 health. It could also be a scenario that has the escorted trait and thus has damage, attack and so on. It's also possible for scenarios to have defense only, in which case you'd see something like 3, 0, 0, 4, 10.

It is playable. I win games all the time. The order of the numbers, is resource cost, damage, attack, defense, HP. If a card does not have a given stat, for example; no attack power, it has a zero in that space.I wouldn't have posted about the game if it weren't completely playable and blind players couldn't win games. I have an 87 percent win ratio, so I am not just guessing at what I'm playing.

For those that weren't signed up for the newsletter, Ravaged Worlds is back online. And since I Don't remember anyone posting about it here, I'm posting it in new releases.For those that have no idea what Ravaged Worlds is, it's Fallen Worlds by a different name.For those that don't know what Fallen Worlds is, it's a trading card game where you pick from several different factions and build a deck to battle other players or bots. Each faction has it's own benefits and weaknesses. Potential spoilers: I don't know exactly, since like I said I got it by accident. By reading feedback though I get the idea it has something to do with getting a lot of HP. I got it by defeating Skag as the last shyfter before the final battle. I also ground enough gold for the barbarian king's crown.

Huh. I didn't see a super secret special item, darn. Might be worth a replay. I actually managed to avoid the endgame thing because I was determined to get everything so I just fought at sunrise peak to get early stuff, defeated all the shyfters and then finished at Sunrise Peak.

ROTK is not down. You just have to connect to the international server.Lyxl still had a good number of players when I was on , a couple months ago. As for multiple servers, if they do the same as they did with the last game they probably won't open up a secondary server for quite a while. I'd be surprised if they had separate servers for Chinese and international players, but they wouldn't be the first audiogame to do so.

The cool thing about ShadowRine is the story and semi-open world idea behind the game. I wouldn't call anything about it's combat complex, though the game itself gave me the closest feeling to playing a mainstream RPG I've gotten out of any audiogame. There are skills, but they just involve holding down the attack button as opposed to rapidly pressing it.For comparison, Planet Saga when it is released is supposedly going to have many different weapon types, skills, possibly magic in some form, combos and as yet undisclosed combat mechanics.

As far as I know, the only way to contact the dev is to catch him in a kongrigate chat room. I neither have an account nor the time to make one and sit around waiting for him. Unless there's a way to contact him through github that I don't know about. Either way it'll probably be up to someone else as I don't game much and only really play FFRK these days.

I admit   I quit playing because of the amount of screen jumping required. The pace of the game has you constantly assigning and re-assigning workers to maximize progress. Though it can be paused like kittens game, it was a bit disheartening to see that the progress I made in a week was normal for sighted players to make in a day or 2.Perhaps someone with more time could check out some of the endgame content since that's when the game really opens up. The first 59 zones are practically the same, then things start to really change after that. There's even multiple things to be unlocked by portaling, perks, masteries and other benefits.

I haven't seen anyone post about this, and a recent thread about a complex idle game just reminded me of it.Trimps is probably the most complex semi-idle game I've played. You start out in a forest and have to set traps, by which you catch a little creature you decide to call a trimp. From there on, every creature in the game is named based on some modification of the word imp.After you catch your first 2 trimps, they start breeding. From there, all kinds of things start unlocking. You can build buildings, assign trimps to jobs, upgrade almost everything in the game and equip your trimps for exploration and combat.The early game consists of exploring the world with your trimps to discover the nature of the planet. You can find maps that let you go into areas to acquire equipment upgrades as you play through the story. You as the player can assist your trimps in anything from cutting would to gaining research points for spending on upgrades.At certain zones in the world, new features unlock, steadily increasing the complexity of the game. Eventually you end up literally breaking the planet you're on and going into space, which opens up the game massively. Toward the end game content that exists now, there's even a tower defense style game in which you defend a dream spire you have built from enemy raids. I haven't played with this one much, but from what I've read Swarm Sim gets more complex than this in the endgame. Over at the idle games reddit it constantly comes up as one of the best idle games of all time, so while the atmosphere might be disgusting rather than cute it could be worth another look.I personally haven't played much with either because they don't interact well in safari and I have no regular access to a PC to play games on.

All of the after story bosses have rooms after they've been defeated. Once you enter, you can't go back out the way you went in. You have to finish the rooms, which usually involve a lot of platforming to get items.Yes the after story is purchased in the bonus shop for 20,000 bonus points. It's like a sequel to the main storyline with 2 more endings. You get to play 3 new dungeons and fight at least 1 new boss.

For the record, that's Chaos Knight, which is by and far different in every way from the traditional knight.The mud has no sound pack, as far as I know. Given how slow advancement is and how many hundreds of combat messages there are, I don't see one happening any time soon either. Not to mention the fact that you can have up to a dozen combat messages in one round depending on your spam filter. If combat is slow for you you probably don't have enough dex to do the higher level content.If anyone would like to see some of what's possible, look up Karnath, Fael, Nightblade or Gamling in the hall of heroes. Only one of these is my character.

You can play on iOS but allocating elemental points is harder. It's difficult to get VO to click the allocate button.There is no real story. You just catch eliyons, feed and play with them, battle with them and that's it. I don't know if some kind of goal system is planned or not. Probably depends on the success of the kickstarter campaign, which will likely fail since it ends March 7th and only has 830 dollars pledged out of 14000.

I don't play anymore but will see what I can do.Yep, login eq on 3k is better than what you can usually pick up in the newbie zones. It was designed to give newbies in equipment heavy guilds an easier time without having to go eq hunting  or wait for donations. You can toggle it off if you really want to.As I remember, the starcraft area isn't a maze per say. It just wraps to give it the feeling of a giant open battlefield. Really there are only 3 or 4 rooms. The entrance, a couple of extras and a room with a bunker.The first few fragments you're basically guided to. If you're not finding the others that are explicitly mentioned, for example in the sspace station, someone may have beaten you to the punch. The others that aren't mentioned are semi randomly scattered around. There are a couple of zones where they don't load, but you basically just need to kill mobs and keep looking for them.Honestly this may not be your cup of tea unless you have tons of time to invest. After the newbie stuff and first couple of guild levels, every guild accept angel turns into a matter of set it and forget it fighting. And because the game is designed that way, I found angels manual combat to be very tedious.

I haven't dug into the meat of the game nearly as much as Jayde has. My only real gripes with it are in it's philosophy and the execution of it's plot, as well as the fact that most of the manamon seem to embody the monster part of their name in appearance. It's pretty obvious the vast majority of the mons were designed without any forethought to what they would actually look like if someone could see them.It's tsill one of my favorite games though, simply for the sound design alone. It may sound weird, but one of my favorite things to do is to just go around to various environments and relax sometimes. Some of my favorites are Paladin's Point, Hansha Village bridge and Master's Rest near the water. Even though I disagree with almost the entire concept of the plotline, I don't regret purchasing this game. Other than the japanese games, it's about the only audiogame I've spent more than a few hours with. I've come back to this game time and again just to mess with some of the cool-sounding attacks, and it's navigation system is top notch. This may sound like a shallow post in the vane of a sighted person praising a game for it's graphics, but it is what it is. In my opinion, it's still the best english audiogame that exists. Having said that, I do still hope that Galaxy Laboratory still has plans to do a monster training game as they said.I still don't think I'd buy Manamon 2, even though I'd be tempted to because of the sound design. I know I said I would way back in the thread, then I said I wouldn't because of the storyline. I'm still leaning toward the latter. Nevertheless, I did get a lot of enjoyment out of this game, more than I did from AHC. So obviously it wasn't all bad, even if I could have done without the constant references to darkness, depression and evolution.

It's difficult even with a checklist. I've tried on multiple ocasions to put one together and only gotten 99% of items. I even tried following a couple of 100% audio playthroughs and getting the exact items they got, and I still only got 99% somehow. I finally just gave up for a while. I doubt the reward is worth all the trouble anyway.

Essentially, my objection is with any kind of "god" being included in a game without either the ability to disable the content or ignore it entirely.In my opinion, receiving a blessing is more than just decoration, even if it just has a message like "So and so blesses you. You receive 30 HP." As a personal preference I don't play games that force anything to do with any kind of man-made god, and in a culture scattered liberally with atheist fanatics and people that think religion of any kind is evil, it always boggles my mind a bit as to why there are so many pantheons and religions in games, unless it's just a way to add an easy extra feature.None of the message above is meant to be accusatory toward you or your game, it's just the only way I could think of to explain why I asked for the ability to disable the content.

@Kratos: It actually isn't really high experience, it's only 1.5 times. So that means you'll be earning regular experience, plus half of what you would have earned. So if you earned 100 experience per battle, you'd be earning 150. Really high experience is only for members.You can use the experience card by just pressing F with it selected.

Entries in the market cost 2000 gold. You pay per entry in the market, not per item. So if you put up 1 skill, or 100 pieces of gold ore, you still pay only 2000 gold to put both of those up.No idea about the potions thing. I assumed each potion would cost the asking price, not that you'd be buying the full amount of potions for the listed price. So no idea why one would say it was too heavy and the other not.

I thought that the undead king could spawn anywhere in the mines randomly? I didn't think he was in a specific area, or is there a zombie I have never seen before.I've found the east, west and north area of the mines, but I've never been to the south mining area. I have a friend trying to log in, and the game says north, and then says network abnormal and closes the game. He has created an account and a character on the game and is logging in correctly. Your options for equipment are pretty much attack and defense unless you use really low level equipment like the gold or silver necklace. I don't know what affects a hunter, for example I don't know if their guns are made stronger with attack power or more accurate with equipment that raises that. I would probably focus on defense, attack and accuracy though just in case it does work.

How can I get to the third level of skeleton cave?My level 24 summoner can do it, but not my level 12 hunter.I tried centipede cave as well, but it usually has so many players that it's hard to concentrate on avoiding damage and they kill me in 3 hits.I think these places would be great to level if I could survive, but I have a lot of trouble finding the second level of skeleton cave even when I can defeat all the enemies.

I think viper forest or snake forest or whatever it translates as now gives more experience than skeleton cave. Last time I was in there, skeleton cave was for around level 10.As for the lag spikes, it seems to depend on what time of day you play. Somehow I doubt there will end up being a server in the United States, since that would mean they would have to maintain two servers and two different copies of the game.

However, one of my friends just extracted the game and ran it normally and his audio was fine. I may have extracted or executed something in chinese locale to cause this problem.@jonnyboy1991:You can get your level info in the escape menu. As for selling chicken to the butcher, selling doesn't actually get you any experience, just money. But if you're going to fight chickens, make sure you get the task. Two completions of that task should get you to level 3.

For the record, I'm using eloquence just fine and still have all of my game audio.Are you guys running the game in chinese locale? Even though the game has been translated into english, without running in a chinese locale about 75% of the audio does not play.

Greed would be making you pay extra to play on a virtual machine, not disallowing you to play at all.Based on something said above, I think there may be a miscommunication here. I wonder if they mean that they disallow playing on a VPN, or virtual private network. In other words, I think what they're trying to disallow is people logging in two accounts at once by logging in via their network and then logging in the second on a proxy network. Perhaps virtual machines aren't the problem at all.Then again, I'm really not sure since they sighted virtual desktops not working either. It's hard to tell, there may be translation issues here.

@Kratos: You'll have the same problem with all classes. All classes use the basic fighting skill up until level 7, accept for hunter which learns a skill at level 5. Warrior does stay the most inaccurate until you get your level 22 skill though.Warriors also have a shorter range than any other class. The longest range of any of their skills is 4 meters, at least that I remember. Usually you have to be within 2 meters to hit anything, so this may be part of your problem unless you're standing right next to an enemy.I don't know if this is true or not, but locking an enemy with the right control key also seems to help accuracy. I can still hit things that are unlocked, but much less often.

@Kratos:You can buy your first skill from the college in Ginko village. After that, you must fight zombies in the abandoned mines which will drop the rest of your skills.Classes do not get many skills in this game though. I think each class gets about 10 skills. Warrior learns them at 7, 15, 22, 28, 30, 35, 38, 40, and 45. I don't know anything about skills for the remort classes.I write that to let people know that the majority of time spent playing this game will just be fighting enemies without gaining much of anything. Especially if you're a free player, the upper levels will take you weeks to gain.Having said that though, the game is still a lot of fun, especially since it's the only MMORPG we have currently unless you count things like Survive the Wild, which I don't.

Remembering each main plot location is fairly easy.Rizen Forest: West of templeGerua Volcano: East of templeFermat Lake: North of templeAs for remembering where things are in each location, really the only ways are to either write down or remember coordinates, or just map them out in your head. Going through the plot tends to be fairly straightforward in the main storyline.Remembering where all the bonuses are is tricky. Even writing them down is tricky. This is why so few people have gotten 100% item completion. I've managed to get 49, but somehow I always, always miss just one item, sometimes even 2.

I don't think bootcamp is considered cheating, since as far as I know there isn't a way to run multiple instances of an OS on the mac without using a virtual machine. So if you can boot your mac into windows, you should be able to play.I wonder if they consider it cheating if multiple computers log in from the same network as well. That would be unfortunate if someone wanted to play with family or friends, but it would prevent people from logging in with multiple computers on multiple accounts.I wonder if they have VPN detection too.You can purchase a pickaxe in Lanshan, at the blacksmith. The translation is very odd, it comes out to something like si knife hoe.As for what mining does, you can use it in combination with a pickaxe in the mines in order to get ore, which you can then use to strengthen armor or to sell for a lot of gold.

I know this is going to be a problem for mac players using VMWare Fusion, but remember that dadi_technology_LTD said that the game will not run on a virtual machine. These guys are extremely worried about cheating and so they take a lot of measures to prevent it, and it looks like they think that running the game on a virtual machine could somehow open the game up to cheating. I don't understand it, but I hope that anyone trying to play the game on a mac has either a windows installation via bootcamp or a dedicated windows computer.Their technical support post also says that the game won't run under a virtual desktop. I'm pretty sure I encountered this the other day, so if anyone is having trouble getting the game to start under Windows 10, make sure that you aren't using a virtual desktop window. If I remember right, you can do this with windows and the arrow keys, namely left arrow to get back to the regular desktop.I know this is probably going
