Re: Big TalkBack changes I switched it so up and down and down than up still jump to the top and bottom of the screen and then 3 fingers swipe left and right switched what swiping up and down does. I found that tapping the bottom of the screen doesn't always work for example in Spotify. It's hard to find the connect to other devices option with out being able to jump to the bottom of the screen. For 5's I fold them in half short ways like a burger. Then 10's are long ways like a hot dog. Then 20's are long ways then short ways. It also makes my blood run cold a little. I'm more of an audio books person but I like Braille in that it allows me to be litterit and it does help me from time to time. I however hate UEB because you can't just change something like a writing and reading system because it doesn't translate well with computers. I'm finished school but I still have this big board exam hanging over my head that I'm taking for the second time in December. This test requires me to study everything under the counseling umbrella career, research, ethics, assessment, family counseling, group counseling, counseling thearys, and culture and diversity. I could be missing one but I can relate to the what does it even matter part. I have no idea what's going to be on this test, 40 of the questions don't even count, and I have to have an actual person read it and not a screenreader. My point is you have to try and look at things in the long run if you can. Schedule breaks where you listen to music, or a podcast or something. Take a break and work on C++ for 30 minutes. Count down to the next holiday and or day off school. In school the little things will get to you but they can also help you. Maybe it's a favorite meal you're looking forward too, or a new episode of your favorite TV show what ever it is just keep that on your mind when things get tough. Besides Trump's awful personality and handling the pandemic poorly I think 1 of the key things that really decided it for me was environmental issues. I know at times we may feel like giving up or that we will die some day so what's it matter when but life is priceless and we should always fight to keep ours. I can relate in some ways to having a near death experience. I've almost died when I was younger when on treatment for cancer but I also almost got decapitated by a train door. I went to London in 2010 with my family and was using sighted guide with my mom. The first full day there we went to Greenwich which was 2 trains from the hotel we were staying in. We are getting on the first train and 2 women cut us off. We stepped on the train and the doors are closing. I don't know what I was thinking then but I managed to pull my head to the side and in the train. The door slammed into the back of my head and started moving. Then I fell on this guy who was smaller than me. I'm 6 2 so I thought I must of hurt him and I was embarrassed. The dude was fine and went on about how London has bad trains and how you got to go to Spain for good trains. That lightened the mood but my head hurt the rest of that day because the tube driver didn't look before closing the door. I count myself lucky for living through that. Your name should be slightly bigger than everything else. If you are using 12 font make your name 14 for example. It should only be a page. If you have a Graduate degree it can be a little longer. Put all the dates on the same side. When listing Graduation dates only include the month and year. Put the most recent things first. Your contact information goes up at the top. You can make it 1 line too cut down on space. Refferences should go in another document and only send if it says you need to include them. Structure your resume towards the job you are applying for with the information relating to the job closer to the top. For example I applied for a therapist job. I included the populations I worked with. The types of disorders I worked with and so on. The cover letter will say why you are applying to the job and stuff like that. That is trickier to write but that’s only 4 paragraphs. I hope this helped.
