However many people including myself are not comfortable or intelligent with command line. I have learned how to use a few keybase file operations like reviewing and restoring archives, but I use the windows client for everything it allows me too. The thing with the keybase client is, it is accessible, but it doesn't have statuses. So you don't know if something is checked or unchecked. There are a few unlabeled buttons, but pressing them and jumping to the bottom of the window will show you what they are. Yes it could be better. But it is usable if aside from not knowing what options are enabled and disabled. It will then place you into the desktop. Also a bonus trick, you can switch to different folders in the window you are streaming without it breaking. So if you start streaming in your documents folder, you can still move to the nvda folder in that window and the stream won't break. Re: Discord Streaming Fun This is the rewritten version of post 23. My friend and I have done extensive testing on the pause issue, and here are the results. Spoiler, it is the same results for the older version of whatsap, they have since fixed it.Once you start streaming, you must bring focus back to the explorer window immediately for your stream to work for the first time. Now, your stream will only go on pause if you access the desktop. You can open other apps, use the start menu, and pretty much do everything else without needing to focus on the explorer window ever again. It doesn't matter how many windows are open between discord and the explorer window, or the explorer window and the current application. Order isn't an issue. So if you do go to the desktop, you will have to refocus your explorer window to unpause the stream. However, there is a workaround to escape this desktop error. Again, it works with the older version of whatsap as well. Hitting windows r to go to the run dialog then pressing escape will put you into the desktop without pissing anything off. So just do that every time you want to visit the desktop, and you're good!Hopefully there will be no more issues for people. But if you are using this method, you're thought process is to stream the window and not look at it ever again. Well that's a problem, because discord wants you to be focused on it. So to make it work, without being paused, limit the amount of windows you have open on your computer, and make sure the window you are streaming is only 1 or 2 applications away from the currently focused app. You can't just setup the streaming window and ignore it. Re: Discord Streaming Fun yes. You continue to stream the window in file explorer. For whatever reason, that will send all of your audio and nvda speech if you restart nvda that way. Just make sure if you need to restart nvda and you still want speech to go through, to restart it that specific way. So I recommend just streaming the nvda file explorer window since you will need to open it anyway, but again any window works. Sadly visuals won't go through, from what I know. Would be rad to join the fun if you and the others are cool with that.Back to the subject, here is the breakdown and it is not order specific. Hope it helps.1: open the nvda folder in file explorer. "C:\program files (x86)\nvda"2: restart nvda with nvda.exe, should be item 73 in the folder.3: stream the nvda window, or whatever window you want in discord. Again you can do this before restarting nvda.4: that's it, your nvda should go through now, along with manamon, foobar, anything aside from ss and command prompt, thus far. You must keep the file explorer window that youa re streaming open during the duration of the stream, but of course that should be assumed. Restarting it from the nvda dialog, the desktop shortcut, or any other way does not work because all of those methods run nvda slave.exe instead of nvda.exe, so it isn't a full restart. So easiest way is right click on nvda desktop icon and select show in folder. Then launch nvda.exe, not the slave. You can do this before or after you start streaming, it doesn't matter. Your nvda speech will go through until you restart nvda any other way. Re: discord bots I have actually built 3 discord bots of my own. One for the electronic game server, but it is trash because for now it is single server and extremely outdated. One for the Sequence Storm server which can play music from the soundtrack as well as announcer phrases, and it can talk like an announcer. And I have also built a bad ass mad libs bot. I know there are already some out there, but I wanted to do it justice and make one that would be more bad ass than the rest. This was my main attention at the beginning of the month, but I want to add more to it in the near future.As for popular discord bots, I don't use any. A lot of them are bloated with crap that I don't need, and personally I think mee6 is just a spam bot. There are also bots that you literally type what you want them to say, as if they are a real person. Dumbest concept ever. And no, that's not how a personality disorder works.
