Ive never established how others found out sooner; perhaps it just spreads by word of mouth. In any case, after a while (within a week, I think it is) youll be notified to update.So soon after 7.0.6. I was testing the 7.1 beta, but even we beta testers are left to find out the hard way--after all, were just testers, and are there to be tested on, not in any way to be compensated. Re: Update Your iOS Devices ASAP Hi.Well, after installing this update Im still disappointed.Once again, we get new voices for siri but Apple stubbornly hangs on to the old vocalizer voices for VoiceOver.Apple, coe on and ditch those crappy english voices in favor of these new better siri voices.Well, maybe they will once they get all the languages filled in?please? please?Well, Ill have to download the full Australian and UK siri voices to test them out.The compact voices for Karen, Samantha and Daniel sound a lot better.Well, Im not really impressed.Ill be impressed when they finally give us the siri voices for VoiceOver or let us pick and choose any of the vocalizer voices for any dialect like they do on the mac.Sorry if Im griping and raving but this voice thing is really annoying me.Karen is OK but I want a better US voice.Honestly, how hard can it be to add something in like you do on Mavericks?

Earlier releases than 10.9 do not have the bug--the bug was introduced in 10.9. However, Apple has FINALLY updated Mountain Lion with a security patch that addresses all the flaws that were first fixed in Mavericks.
