Re: A non-online football (soccer) manager?

Well in good old (late) 80s, Tracksuit Manager, (check it in wikipedia, I played it for years), even on Commodore 64, had quite a nice, interesting, and detailed (as you call it "in depth") match commentary, so if programmers, game developers could do it back then, I do hope they can do it now, in modern age, and with much more advanced technology too.Plus, as I mentioned, the early versions of both football and championship manager had such running, in depth commentaries instead of graphics as well...If only those could be brought back for us, or, if we could only convince a developer of an already existing, accessible enough football manager to apply, to implement such a commentary for us...

WEBL's commentary is okay, but if you want real textual commentary with immersion, Blackout Rugby is the best that's around right now. Don't think there's any better.Hoping the dev can add accessibility via the Unity plugin to the new game. I don't know if classic is still around.

Re: A non-online football (soccer) manager?

Guys, I guess what we blind and vip gamers actually need is a football manager with a detailed, sheer textual, so called "running match commentary", similar to what the old Commodore 64 game Tracksuit manager had, and similar to the fight commentary in WEBL online boxing manager.Btw it was also the way both Football and Championship Manager worked in their early versions, when match graphic was still not added to them.So let's say something similar to Santa Monica football manager, which I found in "ne releases" room, but with a detailed textual running match commentary, providing us a chance to interact, and change, alter formation, strategy, make substitutions whenever we consider it for necessary.I assume playing such a football manager would provide the most interesting experience to us, and it is still a realistic wish to come up with, since the above mentioned pure textual games are pretty simple, I see no serious hinderance why such a game couldn't be made, developed by one of our talented game developers or teams.Perhaps all we need is to ask them politely enough...

Hello, for native Android devices, it is ideal to play true football 3 with an external keybord, as you can press enter on each menu option and it will work. If you don't have one however, in menus where the standard double tap does not work, find the option and click it once with 2 fingers.

Didn't like the limited choice of teams to manage in Be the manager, so my choice would still be True football 3.I managed to install talkback to the Memu android emulator, which was suggested to me here in forums. It is working quite well, I am learning how to navigate with it, downloaded/installed True Football 3, but whenever I try to start a new game in it, the emulator reports that "football 3 has stopped", then it suggests me to send a feedback, or restart the app, when I do that, the game stops again after trying to start a new game.(so the game app does start, the main game options appear, but the "new game" option collapses)Any idea what can be wrong with it?

I find it quite challenging and I often get back into it just for the fun.

A non-online football (soccer) manager?

There are some online football (soccer) manager games I know of, meaning those accessible enough for me to play, like Hat Trick, Online Soccer Manager, or Soccer Boss, but this time I am seeking a non-online one, preferrably with realistic teams, players, their attributes, stats and data, like Football Manager or Championship Manager games are for sighted gamers.Namely, in case of football managers I prefer realism, meaning rl strong teams to be truely strong, weak ones to be truely weak, so I can start with the weakest possible team I can select, (in the lowest existing division), and see how far, how high I can bring it up, with realistic AI team/player stats and data, but with the toughest conditions. This is usually not the case in online football managers, there I get put in some 1st or 2nd division league with a new, custom team, (my location dependent), competition contains no real, existing players and data, AI teams are all crappy in division, while only those few player managed teams are actual formidable opponents...so those are not the games I am searching and hoping for.Does such a realistic, textual based, non online football manager game exist atm?Or at least a non realistic offline one, with imaginary teams, players and stats, but one where I can start from all-all the way down, from the very bottom, aka to play it at the "hardest difficulty level"?

As far as I know, soccer boss is actually offline. On Android, I am currently enjoying True football 3. If you have access to an Android device, it's a great choice. It uses realistic players with slight alterations to the player names to avoid copyright issues. You can choose a team as you wish, and after each season you typically get some offers to move to a new one though you can decline and accept as you wish of course.

A non-online football (soccer) manager?

There are some online football (soccer) manager games I know of, meaning those accessible enough for me to play, like Hat Trick, Online Soccer Manager, or Soccer Boss, but this time I am seeking a non-online one, preferrably with realistic teams, players, their attributes, stats and data, like Football Manager or Championship Manager games are for sighted gamers.Namely, in case of football managers I prefer realism, meaning rl strong teams to be truely strong, weak ones to be truely weak, so I can start with the weakest possible team I can select, and see how far, how high I can bring it up, with realistic AI team/player stats and data, but with the toughest conditions.
