No matter what game I choose, then I'm starting MGS3 where you have to find the backpack.First I choose start game. Then a menu comes up which doesn't wrap. It seems like this is the menu where you have to select which game you wanna play. No matter what I choose here, it starts the same game. The shitty voice acting alone will outright ruin a lot of the game's bigger moments.Sure it's graphically nicer, sure you can do metal gear solid two things and sure... snake back flips off a fucking missile in the twin snakes but it's voice acting is atrocious. You'll want to play the PSX version, under something like Beetle PSX HW in retroarch also, as the PC port suffers from lower quality sounds during gameplay plus cut scene audio is all fucked up. Beetle manages to get the psx reverbs pretty much spot on, and metal gear solid makes heavy usage of the psx reverbs. I wouldn't say it's the definitive edition of the first game, that would be MGS Integral IMO, the sequences in Twin Snakes are a bit more ridiculous/dramatic than the original. Voice acting is sometimes a little dry, taking out guards is ridiculously easy in 95% of cases.I like Twin Snakes though. But personally I'd play the OG first. The sniper part where you have to shoot the c3 on the bridge maybe also, but that's it really. It's not as easy (ish) as the first 2 games, theirs no auto-aim (to a degree) and you have to use the AP sensor to find guards. Hi.Funny that you ask this question, since I might look into those games again.I have a project in mind, where I wanna start a topic, and mention the games which are completeable by blind people. To get a game added to the list, people should write a guide which get other people started on how to play the game.
