They've installed Microsoft Teams on our computers but haven't actually started using it so... I've never needed to use Zoom so that's that. If I'm using Zoom for personal use, I'm usually talking to one other person, so it's not an issue. If someone else is hosting a Pro meeting, it doesn't matter at all.I haven't tried Microsoft Teams for voice chat, but if the quality is as bad as Skype, I'll steer clear unless I have no choice. TeamTalk is cool, but it's not the most user friendly to initially configure. The fact it doesn't encrypt any traffic by default probably makes it unsuitable for important conversations, so I'd go to Zoom if privacy is really important. Apparently TeamTalk now has an encrypted server, but you have to pay $130 which really irritates me. I can safely say though, their Messenger Rooms thing (which ya do not need a Facebook account to join one), allows you to have up to 50 people (with no time limit), and you can happily Turn Off The Camera while in a room! Meets works alright in firefox, I had to use it for some stuff... had, there was no way of convincing everyone to go grab teamtalk. but there are dropouts and stuff that could improve. I guess people like it for the video and screen sharing aspect.
