I do have the APK on my dropbox if you interested. Re: Does anyone here play with a controller paired with their phone? yup, I would give this a shot also.for your question, complex, accessible arcade games with touch controls? , well none so far honestly, but something unrelated with arcade, there are these MMORPGS audiogame from Chinese, one of them is dreamland, it's already translated to English but not perfect, so this dreamland game is cross platform, meaning that you can play on windows, android and IOS, and each platform could do things equally. so as you guess, for the phone version, we have to use gestures, the screen is divided into 2 section, the lower part works as your character movement, such as moving around, attacking etc, while the upper part works as target list, channel history, etc, I honestly think the developer did a great job on this, although sometimes it feels a little clunky and overwhelming do to a huge amount of gestures to remember. the game uses unity as the engine, and keep me wondering, why the western audio game developer doesn't follow this design. It was a little laggy, but that's probably the fault of the emulator. I would be willing to try an accessible phone game that supported or required a controller to play. I have yet to check if my engine even supports controllers on mobile devices, but you folks have inspired me to investigate. And I should at least be able to support keyboards if nothing else. I just have no idea how to cram a dozen or so HUD elements on a touchscreen, still have room for some sort of touch joystick, and make the entire interface something you could accessibly and quickly interact with and not break a finger. But if a large enough number of you are interested in the possibility of more complex accessible games on Android and iOS requiring keyboards/controllers, then I'll see what I can do.@3 Looks like you can pair some models of Xbox controllers with iOS 13 devices. I don't have an iOS device yet, so can't test that myself. I never did it because I only had wired controllers, but last week I bought the modern Xbox one controller with bluetooth which from what I read should work with my iPhone. So I'd be willing to give it a try.Off the top of my head, I'm not aware of any accessible games with controller support at least on iOS. Games like a blind legend, which is both on desktop and mobile do have full controller support on desktop so maybe it would also work on a phone but I don't know that for sure. So this might very well be the first accessible game which can take advantage of this.
