It can be difficult, especially if it involves changing behaviour. God knows I've fucked up enough in life to know. You do get points for pretty much being unequivocal about it though. It wasn't "I'm sorry but", or "I'm sorry if". It was pretty much just "I'm sorry", which is the best sort, in most cases.So while I'm not wholly convinced, I have hope. And the only thing that will convince is time and exposure, which you've got plenty of time for.You've never really upset me personally in any way that'll stick, either, for whatever that's worth to you. AS Brendan said, apologising when you've messsed up does take some serious insert courage based synonym of choice, (guts, stones, lobes, whatever). In fairness, most of the drama you do seem to have been embroiled in from what I gather was more a matter of short temper and snap responces, than literal vindictive meanness or a desire to cause trouble for it's own sake, and several long time members have done much more dodgy things before settling down.The hard part now, is going to be remembering this apology in future, so that you make sure not to get into situations where you might have to make it again, though I honestly believe you actually will remember, since you've always seemed like a decent fellow to me. If you're going to replace your drive, it makes a lot of sense to go for an SSD because it will greatly decrease read/write times.As to your appology I don't really follow this forum a lot, but it's great that you realize your mistakes. To often I have met people who realize that they are wrong, and they just don't care that they are wrong, or I have met people who have realized that they are wrong, but rather than apologize they still try to justify their actions. In my book there is only right and wrong, no inbetween, no grey areas, just right and wrong.
