The php scripts really aren't that hard to edit to make that, though while I'm at it I'd rename it from index.php, because it can be anything else as long as the file uploading page links back to it. A silly yet amusing game by me and Omar Alvarado Personally I think you should just review them before allowing them to be up their.A few of the objects have extremely long flip sounds, which just gets annoying, especially when using the R cheat, or destroying a bunch at once on higher levels.Some also reuse sounds from other objects, forcing you to pick one unless you want things to get repetitive.That, and it's easier to find objects on the map when they use monno or centered stereo sounds...I would say that 80 percent of the objects have their setdebris and size attributes reversed, do to people not paying attention when reading the readme.We also have the issue that some objects have weird sizes, and while that does make sense in an arcade setting, it would be best to agree on a system.And obviously, with things that don't have any debris, size doesn't really make a difference for anything but cosmetic purposes.I split the smallest stuff into two or three pieces, like the chair, laptop, Bopit, sign, light saber and video game console.You could make the argument that the lightsaber, do to the energy release, and sign, do to it's hight could be more, but that's just how I've done it so far.For the table, ladder, and bowling pins, the last do to their natural lack of damage, I used 4 or 5.For the gravatron, explosive, upright freezer, and electric fence (despite it's awesomely over dramatic destruction sound) I used 6.For the big robot, bomb, helicopter, and truck,, I used 7 8 or 9.I didn't split people into debris (lol) accept for the boss and monstercreature do to the explosive sounding deaths, which I used two for.I figured that was pretty sensible. So we had a thought. What if there was a separate repository for higher quality objects that we have tested and found to be decent? The repository would be open to uploads just like the current one, but they would have to be reviewed before they were officially listed. The main requirement to enter would be just to have decent sounds. We would still be open to ideas, however this would mainly be a repository free from things like 20 second flip sounds, etc. Thoughts? I was just thinking it would be really fun to sort of blow up big sections of the field on command, and who knows, you could even make them take away health if you were too close, the bomb code is already there, and so is the item code, so that's why I thought it might be relatively easy. My use case for this would be, for instance, an annoying musical Christmas decoration/toy/animal/ornament/etc. where the different loop sounds are different tunes it can play. When each one is spawned, one of the random loop sounds is chosen to be its loop sound, for as long as that object exists. I find it very difficult to avoid the bombs.When you get hit by bombs and the health goes down, your speed goes down, even when you have put points into it. There is kind of a problem though. When you complete the mass destruction booster, that basically gives you another wave of objects as the debris destroys it.It's a complex system I can't really explain on writing, and that's the problem I have to sort out. What will be the major difference between completing the md booster, and wave blaster mode?Objects become stronger both when you level up, and when you complete the mass destruction booster. If you guys could think of suggestions to make wave blaster mode unique, I think I could get them in.@orko, objects are extremely easy to make. All you need, are 3 flip sounds, flip1.ogg is used when the object has greater than 50 percent health remaining,flip2 is used when the object has less than that, and flip3 is when the object is flipped completely.Loop or itemname.ogg is the item's main loop, debrishit.ogg is used when debris hits the object.After this you will need a properties.txt file. You can copy one over from another object and modify it, or create a new one. Either way, you may wish to consult the readme for further details on the attributes.I hope this helps, looking forward to seeing what objects you create!@kratos, the website has moved from Colton's hosting, it is now at my website. You couldn't add objects, and in fact, the sounds were encrypted. Slender kept wanting me to make more objects and I was not very unwilling to do this. These recordings, just about a year old, are extremely old versions of TTF, and one of them was even made before the game had a proper name. I also have an old version on another computer, but that computer is currently getting repaired and I do not have access to it. A silly yet amusing game by me and Omar Alvarado [ a-t ] post 86, If you have previously unzipped the folder, and the unzipped folder is in your downloads folder, just add a folder in the exceptions list in windows defender. browse to your downloads folder and find the ttf folder there, don't enter it, just make sure it is selected and hit add. then go to home in WD just to make sure everything is done, then exit WD. then unzip the latest version of ttf.zip. It should be fine from then on. Hope this helps. Are you by chance using windows defender? I've heard that tends to give a lot of false positives.It might also be the way bgt compiles, for which I can do nothing about. Antivirus usually detect a bgt game as a virus.Hope this helps. Thanks to Colton for making an upload page for objects.it would be cool if you could get hit when destroying objects, loos health and die. My only complaint is it's too easy to just level up, upgrade all the skills and just keep destroying and blowing things up. It would be awesome to add a kind of difficulty to the game, which makes it challenging to do that. Maybe something like you need to step away when things collapses to avoid getting hit. What do you think about this idea?The upload page and being able to download other peoples objects is great. But it would be awesome if the game had a build in object downloader. I have no idea on how difficult it would be to make that.Trophies would be totally epic. That might get people totally addicted to the game, more than people already are. Keep up the great job.
