In theory regional blocking is by continent, not by country.Right now we do not know if PS5 will have regional blocking, although Sony usually uses this on their consoles.Very exciting news, I am very happy to finally have an accessible PlayStation in my language. Will I be able to buy a ps5 here, change the language to English and have the screen reader work, or will it be limited on the hardware sku level like the ps4 was. If the framework is there, and you already put in the effort of localizing it, it'll probably work on more screens, too. Now the most awesome thing they could do is if you started up the console for the first time, you could start narration and set it up yourself. Thanks so much for this exciting news.It doesn't only prove that a screenreader will be released outside the US, but also that it will be in multiple languages.It seems like Sony is finally listening, which is really really great.Even if we won't see much improvements to the screenreader, I would get a more accessible console than my ps4 just by releasing the screenreader world wide.Being backwards compatible with ps4 games means we can play a lot of playable games on the console already, which is really motivating me to consider getting the ps5, especially when it have a screenreader, which finally, after 5 years is going to be released outside the US.I look so much forward to see the reviews of the console on the release date.Again, thanks for sharing this... If the screen reader has improved since the ps4, that'll be even more motivation for me.
