Should this user be discovered creating any new accounts before their ban expires, they will be banned permanently.We approached this user a couple of weeks ago, on suspicion of alternate account abuse, and were told that the accusation was untrue, and that any similarity was coincidental. Unfortunately, Deucalion ceased using their VPN, which quickly let us realize that the location of both users was virtually identical. When you add in a similarity of writing style, similarity of post content, Deucalion being created the day after Talpaiute was banned, and Deucalion claiming he let Talpaiute "borrow his account" - which is against the rules as well, by the way - it's a slam dunk.Pro-tip, for those of you who find yourselves on the wrong end of an admin investigation. Don't lie, because it will go worse for you if you do. I forgot to update the thread, and I apologize.As of May 17, 2020, Simter has a warning for explicitly linking to a package which allows for the use of MacOS in a VM on a Windows machine, which is against Apple's terms of service. This amounts to a form of piracy, especially given that the intent is clearly to go against Apple's wishes here. The link was removed and the thread locked. Re: public record of disciplinary action Apologies for getting behind on this.Blindgamer, as of April 19, 2020, has earned himself a six-month ban, pending further review via the administration panel.The first two warnings were handed out on April 16 or 17, as memory serves(exams have fried my brain) for the distribution of an extremely dangerous virus. The final warning was handed out today for propagating an unauthorized fork and trying very hard to get people to play cloned/unauthorized games.
