I think most of my issue is that I've used GitLab CI for years, I generally know how to make it do what I want, and it makes lots of sense to me. It'd probably be easier to just drop $14/month on a Windows CI runner I can connect to GitLab, than learning yet another CI system. I just spent days essentially trying to cache Windows builds as an artifact in one step, cache Linux builds in another, then combine them into a single artifact. Appveyor doesn't share build caches between stages, and makes you securely store an access token and use their Powershell API to retrieve archives. GitLab CI makes it a no-brainer to cache archives in one build step, name them, then retrieve those archives as a dependency in another. No scripting, no external API, no downloading a command line tool to securely encrypt credentials so they can be committed.Ugh, sorry for the rant. Unfortunately, it only really works with Github, but there is a private repo version of Travis you can access. And according to the documentation, there is support for Windows CI. I've tried their Linux and Mac CI, and it worked fine to generate dmg and Linux executables. Here is the docs for Windows if you care to check it out: this link.Also unfortunately, Windows CI on Travis only supports a subset of their language and build environment offerings as compared to Linux and Mac. It uses Chocolaty, which I guess you could install necessary temp packages for other languages. Anyway, hope this helps a little. I remember the invoice amount each month which is roughly EUR 30, and while I get a receipt from the bank, it has a more generic subject line and I don't associate it with my bill quite as readily.Pretty happy with them. If you don't mind a German datacenter location, they're great, though they may have other European countries covered too.I get 32 GB of RAM and some decent number of cores for roughly $30/month. Pretty pleased with the performance for a personal server doing some light hosting of business assets. Uptime has been pretty solid. Haven't needed support for anything. I haven't pushed it too hard--I just think this amount of RAM and compute at this price is a no-brainer on my budget, so I went for it so I'd never have to worry about running out of resources. At the time I joined, I think 32 GB was the beefiest option, but they may have 64 GB and 128 GB options now too.Of course, YMMV, and I'm not saying it's the best, but it's where I'll turn for more hosting. I'm US-based, but the German datacenter seems well-connected enough that I haven't had any notable performance issues.
