Is the folder on your secondary drive restricted? Also, maybe it failed once and then something got left in the folder blocking the update process. There seems to be one issue with quad9 DNS for name resolution and another issue where extraction doesn't work in conditions that are still unknown to me. I'll take a look at the extraction code. If you sit in frontpage and let new posts come in if those posts are replies, the old posts are still their, but the new replies are above them in a new list item. So you get duplicates if you're reading through things.Maybe after the last few things are ironed out you can add in multireddit support though that might require some extra work since we have to be able to set up the multireddits. Never used it my self, but know someone who did.A suggestion would be to upload the xml file to a github repository or pastebin, and then paste the link to the raw version of the file, the updater could than check it as if it was on any other server. Then, as github and pastebin are farely trusted domains, I think most people would be able to download it, as it would pass through most firewalls.Next, you could make a github release for each version, adding the url of the attachment in the xml. Alternatively, you can use dropbox or whatever else you want for hosting, as long as clicking the provided url would lead to a save downloaded file as/opening/downloading size from websitename dialog in browsers. You click it and then in your account profile section, there is a category called "Saved," where you can review and come back to posts/comments you clicked that button on. That's quite a nifty little feature, which I've been replacing by upvoting posts since there is an "Upvoted" category in the profile section too, so it's almost the same thing. I would just prefer to save things sometimes so as not to give any indication that I like or dislike something, just that it's something that I might want later.I also have a question. When replying to a post, hitting ctrl + r and typing, I'm experiencing some odd behavior with NVDA. For whatever reason, I'm typing each word of my reply, pressing space, and nothing happens. I do have echo words turned on. However, when I insert punctuation, such as a comma or a period, NVDA will announce all of the words I typed as one word. The spaces do seem to actually be included but it isn't reading them. This isn't a problem in other applications, notepad, word, firefox in this multiline field element I'm typing in right now... so I wonder what could be going on. I'm using NVDA 2020.3 if you'd like to test that on your end. Because I could save it in a file, but did you expect those saved posts and comments to move with you? I don't have any online storage. Maybe I could let users specify an alternate path and they could put it in a cloud synced folder. In a future update, do you think it might be possible to add support for saving posts, comments, etc? That's a feature I quite enjoy on the website/other reddit apps, and I would like to know if it's possible to integrate that into your program.
