Re: Rock, paper and scissors! Thanks UltraLeetJ, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I will definitely work on your advice. For Ty, thanks for the audio you sent. This closure of the program after a few seconds makes me think of a conflict with an already installed version of Java. Is it possible that you already have a Java version? Or is it some antivirus that blocks it? Re: Rock, paper and scissors!
Re: Rock, paper and scissors! it works perfectly here. three suggestions: 1. Make a small pause when the computer selects an element and have the speech announce what it was after the sound finished playing, so its a bit more surprising and interactive.2. Lower the music during game play if possible3. Have sounds for different losing or wining events, like crumbling paper when you choose paper and computer chooses rock, or paper being cut when one chooses scissors and the other paper, and so on. given your level of programming I don't think this is very hard to do, you already have achieved a lot and congrats. ! Re: Rock, paper and scissors!
Re: Rock, paper and scissors! I'm glad it works! Yes, the opponent's choices are random. Sometimes it can happen that the opponent chooses the same thing twice in a row but he does. Even the messages that the computer gives you when you win, lose or draw are at random among 5 possible answers for each event. Thanks for compliments! As for the executing, I updated the archive about an hour ago, so it may be that having downloaded the updated version it works. Re: Rock, paper and scissors!
Re: Rock, paper and scissors! Yes, the game is programmed in java. I tried on 2 computers at my disposal and it works. Both were 64bit windows. Do you have a 32bit version? When you extract the zip extract all the files in a single folder? The files Tolk.dll and nvda 32 and 64bit dll must present in the same folder of the game. If you launch the game without extracting the archive it doesn't work.If it still doesn't executing, let me know what version of Windows you have and I'll try to fix it. Also because I am pleased that the game can run on several different versions, or understand what problems there may be. Rock, paper and scissors!
Rock, paper and scissors! Hello to all. I just started programming and I created my first game. It's the popular rock, paper and scissors. Would you like to try it? It has music, sounds, always different answers from the computer when the player wins, loses or draws. It's a simple game but I did my best to make it unpredictable.I also propose you to try it to understand if it works on all computers or if in some configuration it can cause problems. Here is the link, good download!https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uHRp38 … sp=sharing URL: https://forum.audiogames.net/post/470568/#p470568 -- Audiogames-reflector mailing list Audiogames-reflector@sabahattin-gucukoglu.com https://sabahattin-gucukoglu.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/audiogames-reflector
