Re: collaboration rhythm rage pack?

@5 yes, he stated awhile back he would not change any syntax.@4 it's ok to take your time. The language you are using is still fairly new to you. And there is nothing wrong with putting other things on higher priority. This is one of those games that doesn't depend on game updates, rather user created updates. Making levels is difficult, but the best thing you can do to make it easier is to build a syntax generator, which I did. The user still has to be creative and put in effort. But this idea of a pack from multiple people is good because something gets done without stressing everyone out. However there are some things that you could do to make rhythm rage much more user friendly. I do think that each pack needs to be 1000 credits per level. And maybe, just maybe, you could add a feature that allows someone to buy unfinished packs, and when new levels are available, they can purchase those levels individually. Because right now it is an all or nothing package. You either get a finished pack for 5000 credits, or nothing. Or, you get an unfinished pack for 5000 credits and piss people off. Also, this individual level purchase system, could allow users to give feedback to the creator of the pack to let them know if they like it or not. Why put effort into a whole pack that you don't know if people will like? Lastly, this individual level system could allow for levels to get revisions in case mistakes were made, or there were not enough/too many actions. Either the levels could be adjusted automatically, or the user would be notified that a level was modified and is asked if they want to purchase it. Revisions should only cost 250 or 500 credits. This system adds a whole lot more flexibility to rhythm rage, but you will have to get rid of the old system of packs.

collaboration rhythm rage pack?

collaboration rhythm rage pack?

If you are like me, you get a rhythm rage pack idea, make the first level, and get stuck and quit. And no one wants to play a 1 level pack. So here is my question. What if we choose a theme, and anyone who wants to contribute, can make a level for the pack, so we have a pack with more than 1 level, but we don't overwhelm ourselves with the amount of time and effort. I have a theme to recommend, let me know if you like it.PS, levels do not have to be made with the level creator. This is not an advertisement for it, lol.The theme is blind devices. The different levels are:cane, brailler, braille display, note taker, mounnt batten talking brailler, slate and stylous, of course an iphone level, mac level, windows, etc, and the list of blind devices goes on.If you do not wish to contribute to making levels, but want to recommend a music track, that is cool. No levels can have lyrics. Make sure you know the original source of the music tracks before recommending them.If the pack is released, we will put a credits file containing who made each file or recorded samples for the levels, as well as the original source of the music tracks. It will be posted in this topic.
