How long has it been since this game was made? I know it was built at some university but I am wondering if it is out of date or if it could be worth somebodys time to rebuild it, maybe make a batch file that will open it for you.I did play this game about four years ago, although I should find it quite odd that its primary focus is on males satisfying females, although I know Dark Room allows you to do both sides. It is in human nature, however, that males have higher androgens, but in either case this should not discriminate any given aspect of both parties.I heard a little bit about erotic horrors, but nothing in regards to BDSM as dungeon master or the other text adventures. Can they be found on some database whose name I cant remember, something like IFADT? I run Frotz on my iOS device which is like a Z-machine interpreter, and it allows you to browse popular text adventures.What would really be interesting is a form of augmented or virtual
  reality sex games, though that may sound idealistic and not practical due to the many things one would need.

The only way to know for sure whats wrong, other than to fix it, is to read the error message. That requires the command prompt.I can imagine one of two reasons:1. Capitalization got corrupted. I dont know how to fix this; maybe someone can put a working copy in a rar or 7z archive? Otherwise, itd require extracting it, renaming the files in question, and rebuilding, which is just painful.2. 64bit windows does not like the included Dlls (fmodex mostly). Unless there is a 64bit version of fmodex out there that can safely replace it, I dont know how to fix this, either.So, the first thing I suggest: ask someone, for whom the game works, to send it in a different archive format, like .rar. I dont know if this works, but it seems like it might.If that doesnt work, Ill try to explain reading the error with the command prompt.

CAE, there are 64-bit libraries for FMOD Ex available. I have both installed on my machine and I got them from the FMOD Ex SDK. However, I am not entirely sure that is Fadis problem.Fadi, the only thing I can suggest is what others have said. You are going to have to manually launch the game via the command prompt, and find out if the JRE throws any errors or exceptions. Generally you would do it by doing something likejava -jar program.jarassuming of course you have your JRE configured properly to launch programs manually from the command-line.

[...]/files/dark room (keyboard version).jar is the file to run.Sometimes, Windows messes with capitalization with java files, and that can break them (it does more often than not, using winzip, from what I can tell).You should run jarfiles with java or javaw. If installing Java didnt create the association, you may have to set this up manually. If you arent use to this sort of thing, it will probably be a little frustrating.

Hi.This is one of the strangest topics Ive ever seen on this forum. Ok fadi I will try to explain dungeon master to you. Youve got all kinds of whips and things and the object of the game is to hurt the woman in the game as much as possible. The more you hurt her the mor she enjoys it. This is where the name dungeon master comes from since you are basically torturing her. Jim kitchens also has a game called winspank which is just a different version of dungeon master. Except for dark room sex game thats all I can think of except for flexible survival which is a text adventure where you fight monsters who are addicted to sex and if you get there body fluid on you you become one of them. I didnt know about this game paradise hotel Ill have to check it out. It sounds pretty funny.

In any case there is an alternative Adrift Runner called Scare which is pretty speech friendly, but only works on 32-bit Windows, and they ave a version for Linux as well.
