How exactly would you go about setting up custom actions like that then? I assume it's hidden away somewhere in one of the submenues when editing gestures, though I've yet to find it. I have no idea how well this would work if you had the same gesture set as multiple actions, say if you wanted to toggle something with a single gesture, so that'll be something for us to try out yet. This works great on Spotify, TC's medial player, and YouTube, and that's really all I use for playing media. I know you will have to install something to get android working on Mac OS. if you get an iPhone you will not be able to access the file system on the mac or windows system. But android devices are not compatible at all with the thing are they? And should I buy myself an Iphone? Or an Ipad. I do not like to carry my mac everiwhere because I live in a developing countri and have been roved various times, that's why. But I herd that with an Iphone or an IPad you could do editing and recording operations as well with an external keyboard, and then via airdrop translate all the jazz to the mac. So, is it better to sell my old android... Actually old because it has one year with me and its compatibility with mac is sucking, to buy a new Iphone? Or should I stick with android.Don't get me wrong, I actually love android as it is, even though my terminal no longer updates and has lots of crappy applications on it. Though in iOS for example, assigning 3 fingers to scrolling also makes it work in the case of swipe down to refresh, so maybe same is the case on Android and you just have to choose something you will use for scrolling. Re: should i get an i phone or an android. Sure thing. As long as you are up to date, first you go to Commentary's settings,/ action settings / custom gesture settings. There if you scroll all the way past the standard swipe gestures, you will see the multy finger ones which say Android 11 or later required. Note that at this point they aren't very well translated as far as I noticed.. Before being able to use them though, I think that inside actions settings, you first must go to other settings and enable the checkbox which says use multy finger gestures. I've not read anything on this thread, because I think I can probably guess what it says:If you're unsure about accessibility, and you want your hand held and for everything to be convenient, go for an iPhone.If you don't mind the occasional bump (whatsapp messages don't show up as a single control for example), but you want over all more customizability (the ability to put things *anywhere* on your home screen for example), and you like to use a decent personal assistant, get an Android.I'm using a Pixel 5, and it's speakers are terrible, and they removed the squeezable edge thing, so I'm using the voice search button because I don't want to switch on "Hey Google" detection because my whole house is wired with that. For all that though, it was only £599, so cheaper than the modern iPhones. If you're asking the question though, I'd probably say go for iPhones, since you probably don't care enough to experiment.If I'm wrong though (and I hope I am, because Android has a lot to offer), go Android. As for what Android, I've no idea, other than Pixels, so again, if you hate research, go iPhone. It has an overall better experience in terms of accessibility.I don't think though that a primary device that you want to use in a daily basis is something that you could buy and try it out. Stressing again, in my opinion, I don't find it a favouring idea buying a device that you don't know what it can offer simply because you heard that it can talk. Now of course Android phones offer way, way more than that: they can perform basic tasks and even advanced tasks if you will, though having used both platforms, I find that iPhones perform far better than Android, accessibility-wise. Hi gi's, so i'm getting a new phone this week end, and at first i thot i was gonna get an i phone, but just now, wen we were coming back from dinner, my moms phones like started to talk and i new what it was, so i told google to the settings and i turned it off, and i figgerd, mabey it will be easyer to get an adroid sense she doesn't no how to use an i phone, but she nos how to work an android phone, so i don't half to have help setting it up, but sure there's probibly some steps on google, but i also just wanna try it out, so if you could help me on what to get that would be awesome, thanks.
