Hi, Looking for direct ancestors (8th and 7th great grandparents). Any info on António Arruda married to Teresa Rebelo would be much appreciated. António was born in S. Pedro Nordestinho, Nordeste, S. Miguel. They had a son Manuel de Arruda born in S. Pedro Nordestinho in 2. Dec.1751. Manuel was married to Ana Francisca at Porto Formoso, 30.Jan.1782. I translated the document and the first attachment says 21 de abril, and the records goes: On 21st of April 1879, at the church of Nossa Senhora da Misericordia of Lages, from Villa das Lages, diocese of Angra, was baptized by me the priest reverend Cosme Jose de Sousa, a feminine child to whom I named Maria, born in this parish at 3pm on the 27th of March of this same year, legitim fist daughter of Manoel da Costa e Maria da Conceicao both from this same parish, they dint mention where in Cabouco they live paternal grand daughter of Jacintho da Costa and Maria de Jesus and maternal grand daughter of Antonio de Medeiros Cabrinha and Helena de Jesus.
