Hi ADAM, I think you have your name information a bit “confused”… COSME should be the last name so, Cosme José de Azevedo is most probably José de Azevedo Cosme, and your José (da?) Rosa should be José da Rosa Cosme… let’s hope we are right!!! J Can you send me the marriage info or scanned document? I have access to the marriages of S. Mateus from 1594 to 1840. Have you considered filing a comment or complaint with Ancestry.com directly? I find many time, when I haven't received a comment and I look at the last time they were online, it has been a considerable amount of time. Could be they haven't logged in for sometime. Often CA is confused with Canada and people don't recognize it's California or visa versa. A person who latched on to my family information before it became so easy with Ancestry's hints somehow inserted Aveiro (a mainland Portugal city) into Sao Jorge in the listing of my ancestors on their tree. So I've been able to follow along as other people use that information. Makes things interesting sometimes.
