Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] Help with parents' names, Rabo de Peixe, Sao Miguel

Rabo de Peixe is the freguesia next to Calhetas, and Calhetas was 
considered part of Rabo de Peixe freguesia at one time. You will not find 
records older than 1796 for baptisms, 1836 for marriages. Calhetas must 
have begun almost the same time as Rabo de Peixe because it is often 
referenced in the old Ribeira Grande and Rabo de Peixe records. It is 
possible that you may find some links to Ribeira Grande, Estrela, and to 
lesser extent, maybe Ponta Delgada also. Really, I know we want more, but 
it is blessing to have anything in the 1600's at all.

Sam,

He didn't die on 29 Oct 1983--his wife did.  You already had that as a side 
note on her baptism that you posted yesterday.  Note 3 is about his death 
on 19 Nov 1987.

Maria Umbelina's parents were Manoel Joaquim de Fontes and Jacintha
Umbelina de Jesus (Resendes) - married in 16-08-1872, Santa Bárbara.

says Maria Umbelina de Jesus’s parents or the date of the marriage does it?  
I’m so frustrated with my ancestors reusing the same exact names over and over

Top left is the second page of Jose Ricardo’s birth/baptism.  I can read the 
body of the page as well as the top note.  Is the side note saying he married 
Ludvinia d’ Lourdes on the 23rd of June 1934 and her parents were Joaquim Simao 
de Resendes and D  Julia Soares?
