 I believe this is the baptismal record of Úrsula Leite (my wife's 7x 
 great grandmother). Úrsula married Amaro Pimentel (or Amaro da Costa) on 
 November 20th 1715 in Nordeste. In the marriage record Úrsula's parents 
 are 
 listed as Joao Leite and Isabel Figueira.

says his is beneficiado? em esta (same as nesta?) Matriz.  I believe a 
beneficiado is a position in the clergy.  On the top left record on this 
image it has the same format except the clergy member is Cura Manuel Lopes 
da Costa.  I'm not sure of the three letters after baptizou.  My guess is o

Thanks Angela, Unfortunately, I don’t have the parents of “my” Custódio yet.  I 
show him married to a Maria Rosa and to a Maria Jacinta.  I suspect that the 
two Marias are the same person but; not sure yet.

Custódio's parents are Francisco Soares de Figueiredo & Francisca Rosa da 
Fonte, so you can check if it's the same Custódio.

Rosemarie;  I do have the name Custudio Jose de Figueiredo in my family tree.  
Unfortunately, he is married to a different woman…  I know it could be a 
different wife of the same guy but; will have to prove it to know for sure.
