[AZORES-Genealogy] Lagoa
I never see any postings in here with connections to Lagoa, and just wondered if somehow I am missing that detail. The Rosario freguesa didn't appear to be very large when we visited a few years ago, so I am thinking that if I find someone with connections in the area, some of your info may overlap with mine. My grandparents lived there from the early 1890's until approximately 1910. His name was Joao Faria Machado (the mother was a Faria) and her name was Maria DaCarmo Andre Andrade with connections to Leopoldina Lopes who married a Joao Lopes and they all settled in Stonington CT Any info greatly appreciated. There are some marriages I do not have completed because of the records being difficult to read. I also have all the marriages from Santissimo Salvador in Ribeirinha Sao Miguel for the years 1836 -1883. If you are looking for people in these two parishes I am willing to help.
