Elaine S, Correct, the BEST use of DNA is to find relatives - both distant and unknown! Yes, DNA can open doors and some of those doors are closets (with skeletons)! My nephew had his done by one company, original finding no French, and they recently updated his DNA and somehow he was now 50% Frenchthere is NO French in the family to our knowledge!!
