Re: [SlimDevices: Beta] LMS 7.9 and DSD
Hi all I have successfully streamed DSD files from my NAS to several DSD capable DACs, so the setup of LMS on my NAS seems to be ok. I am now trying to get my Raspberry Pi2 with Hifiberry DAC+ to work with DSD files, hoping to convert them to PCM in LMS on the NAS. However, for the Raspberry Pi2, I do not get the usual DoP yes / no checkbox in the DSDPlayer configuration box, but a message "This player supports native playback of DSD files. DSD-over-PCM should be configured on the player configuration interface." 21344 Can anyone give me a hint, how to configure the RP2 / DAC+ / LMS combo to play DSD files (converting them to PCM on the fly). Thanks a lot +---+ |Filename: RP2 DSD configuration page.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=21344| +---+ jacobacci's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63932 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101641 ___ beta mailing list beta@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta

[SlimDevices: Beta] mysueezebox.com favorites not visible
With 7.7, LMS used to show the following behaviour: If I am logged into my local library (on my NAS) and I go to favorites, there was a line "mysqueezebox.com" to access my favorites on mysqueezebox.com with one button press. With 7.9. this line is no longer there and I have to manually switch to mysqueezebox.com and then go to favorites to access my favorites stored there. Then I have to manually go back to my NAS library if I want to play music from that library again. Am I doing something wrong or is this by design? Thanks a lot for keeping LMS alive. Glad it worked, mmstos Credit to kiat for the original solution, the direct link to his post in is my original post. I just added the directory names to make it easier. jacobacci's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63932 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101641 ___ beta mailing list beta@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta

Lets hope Pinkdot manages to adapt the Plugin, so that it searches for libFLAC.so.8 in the right location, making the manual copying unnecessary. jacobacci's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63932 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101641 ___ beta mailing list beta@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
Re: [SlimDevices: Beta] LMS 7.9 and DSD
Yes, too bad. Well I have moved an old PC back into service and am now using LMS 7.9 for windows, where the DSD stuff works without issues. If would be great if at some point in time it would also work on Synology. But for the time being - solved Thanks and Regards Rudi jacobacci's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63932 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101641 ___ beta mailing list beta@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta

I would really be grateful if you could do that. Re: [SlimDevices: Beta] LMS 7.9 and DSD
Thanks for the hint, Martin I had thoughts in that direction myself. On my Synology I have installed a static build of ffmpeg which includes SOX for use with MinimServer. MinimServer could access SOX without problems once I told it where the static build ffmpeg sits. Unfortunately I have no clue how to tell LMS the location of the static build. Would know by any chance? Re: [SlimDevices: Beta] LMS 7.9 and DSD
I am trying to play DSF files in the following configuration: Synology DS1815+ with LMS 7.9.0 Squeezebox Touch Aune S16 DAC connected to Touch through USB via powered hub. Under digital output, the Touch shows all bitrates of the Aune S16 up to 384kHz. PCM files play up to 192kHz, higher samplerates do not play. I would guess due to limitations of the USB output of the Touch. In LMS, under player / DSDPlayer I have activated "Enable DSDoverPCM", as the Aune S16 is DoP capable. When I try to play a DSF file, I get the error message "can't open file for xxx.dsf". What might I be doing wrong? Playing from a Laptop using jRiver through USB, all bitrates to 352.8kHz and DSD64 play (I had no 384 and DSD128 files available) Thanks a lot for any help jacobacci's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63932 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101641 ___ beta mailing list beta@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
