Re: [eloli@hotmail.com: Blackbox web site]

In mho..

People are simply way too sensitive. I like to think of the internet as the Wild West
in a way. People say whatever they want, and it's up to us to realize that we have
every right to disagree, but *no* right to censor the views of others.

In fact, I actually enjoy this freewheeling kind of environment. There's bravado,
arrogance, and insensitivity. But if you dig deep there's also a lot of intelligence.
Take my own experiences for example: I've learned more from this website about BB
and related software because of the matter-of-fact, direct and unadulterated
information available. Not because it caters to the whims or feelings of any
particular individual.

Besides, every KNOWS that many people just think Microsoft technology sucks. Gates'
is a genius as a businessman. But not as an OS developer.

Since this isn't a list for philosophical argument, I'll leave it at that. And thanks
again for making the window manager learning process a valuable and interesting one.

Bbappconf

Anyone?

I'm running a transparent aterm window, and want it borderless as well. I downloaded
bbappconf, edited bbappconf.bb so that class = XTerm, name = aterm, and decorless =
true. Still no decorless window. I've tried to make this happen with xterm as well,
to see if it's emulator or wm specific. Both term windows remain unaffected. Any
suggestions?

Menu Options

2002-06-02 Thread astralflight6

Folks,

Are there any other command options that are available in the Blackbox menu than the
ones listed in the preinstalled menu? For example, could you make an application
quit? Or is it possible to have anything like file aliases in there? Bookmarks?
