1Password Not Working

2015-09-14 Thread quefaccio
I have followed the instructions for integrating with QuickSilver App:

   - 1Password Preferences > Advanced > Checked Box for "Enable integration
   with 3rd party apps"
   - 1Password Preferences > Sync > Also sync Primary vault with Dropbox
   (location: username > Dropbox > 1Password > 1Password.agilekeychain
   - QuickSilver Preferences > Plugins > Checked Box for 1 Password Plugin
   - QuickSilver Preferences > Catalog > 1Password > Checked Box for all
   1Password options

Yet, I still don't have my 1Password web site logins in the QuickSilver
catalog.

Should note that I had this working fine until I uninstalled QuickSilver
using the QS Uninstall tool: QS > Preferences > Application

I think the current plug-in only works with 1Password 3.

I have:

  1. Submitted a fix that should get it working with 4 and 5 -
https://github.com/pjrobertson/1Password-Plugin/pull/6
  2. Very publicly poked the owner of the plug-in to take a look (…in
this e-mail. I’m doing it right now! )

Nothing yet, as Patrick said. I use it at work, but don’t really like
it so I’m not motivated to work on a plug-in. I’d be happy to answer
a billion questions for anyone that takes it on, though.

Re: Moved over to Safari (from Chrome, then Firefox) and now want to use Safari's KeySearch extension

2015-09-14 Thread Mike Petonic
Hi Rob --

Thanks for your help on this (and for your continuing work on QS). I
thought I'd write back with my solution.

I am using a combination of a customized "surfraw'" /bin/sh script and
applescript to give me back the functionality that I used to have.

On thing that is frustrating is that I've lost the "auto-history" function
that Web Search + "Search For ..." gave me. Whenever I used to invoke the
trigger, it would pre-populate the third pane. The way it works now when I
do a [SCRIPTNAME][PROCESS TEXT][] trigger now, the last pane
[] is blank.

Do you think that there's a hack to implement this in Applescript, or if
not, then perhaps a hack of using Web Search to invoke an applescript with
the constructed parms ("script name and *** parameters expanded") instead?

Thanks,
-Mike

Thanks. For time being I'll continue using the stand-alone app which allows
me to search and to open the vault.

Re: lastpass catalog

2015-09-14 Thread Patrick Robertson
I think not.
A plugin would need to be written for this kind of thing.
I don't think the core dev team has any plans of making one in the near
future, but if you know a programmer who wants to join the team and write
it, or you can do it yourself then that's the best option!
