[Blind-Computing] excel question

2011-02-01 Thread Cliff Smales
I need to add up to ten fresh worksheets to my workbook.

I'm using excel 2003.

The commands I've been given, unless I'm doing something wrong, don't produce
the new worksheets.

Using 2003, how do I accomplish this needed addition?

Hi Cliff,

I can't answer your question directly but why not try opening Excel and then
opening the JAWS keyboard Manager and let that utility tip you off.

Go to the Insert menu and arrow down a couple to Worksheet. They'll
default to Sheet 1, Sheet 2, Sheet 3 or the like each time. You can rename
these. If you get your Jaws cursor on one of the sheets and right click it
you'll see helpful options there.

Menu items are only available if they can be used. Usually you need to have
had opened or done something else to make grayed out options come alive :)

Yes thanks for that tip. I also wondered where the attachments are stored?
I'd thought it would be in Docs and Settings/me/Application data/Outlook or

Glad you found it, but remember those folders aren't actually all that
separate on the hard drive as such - they generally get stored inside a
single outlook folder called something like outlook.pbx, under your user
settings, etc.

Glad you got it back anyway...

[Blind-Computing] Is there an equalizer that I can use for Xm audio stream?

2011-02-01 Thread Chris Feist
Hi. I'm listening to Serius XM radio online, but I have to listen via their
online player. I sure would prefer to use Winamp since I can control the
bass and treble within Winamp, but that's not an option. As a result, the
music sounds flat in my ear phones.

What I'm wondering is, is there some sort of program out there that would
make it possible for me to control how much bass and treble my computer is
putting out? I mean something separate from my sound card since its
equalizer isn't the least bit accessible.

I don't know if such a thing is even possible, but I'd thought I'd ask. It
never hurts to ask, right?

Since Winamp can do it separate from the sound card equalizer, I figured
perhaps there's a little handy program out there that kind of does the same
thing for streaming audio. It sure would improve my Xm listening
experience.

Thanks much.

[Blind-Computing] jaws not reading clipboard entries

2011-02-01 Thread FrDoug
Hi Everyone,

I've noticed since I started using Jaws 12, W7 and word 2010 when I have
multiple items in my clipboard

That jaws only reads one. I used to up and down arrow and jaws would read
each item. Is anyone else having this problem.

Thanks
