Job description

Requirements

-Reporting to UCEAP's Senior/Lead Developer, the Web Designer/Drupal
Front-End Developer will support UCEAP's mission through design,
development and delivery of cutting edge web experiences for users.
Responsible for full stack development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery,
AJAX, PHP, MYSQL, XML/JSON, and Responsive Design, to help in the design,
development and delivery of web experiences for UCEAP, including mobile
platforms. Participates in all phases of web application development life
cycle, including requirements gathering and analysis, system design and
development, testing and implementation.
*Minimum Requirements::*
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Graphic
Design or related field and 5 years of experience implementing websites in
Drupal, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
-Three or more years of experience in UX Design, with deep expertise in
designing for large, complex websites.
-Proficiency working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, PHP, MYSQL,
XML/JSON, LAMP environment and Responsive Design.
-Familiarity with full stack development.
-Working knowledge of CSS precompilers (Sass, Less).
-Experience with all phases of web application development life cycle,
including requirements gathering and analysis, system design and
development, testing and implementation.
-Experience designing mobile-friendly, responsive websites and user
interfaces that are cross-platform, cross-browser, and/or cross-device
compatible.
-Proficiency with PHP for templating, theme pre-processing functions.
-Experience defining base themes and building sub-themes from them.
-Experience converting layered design mockups into Drupal themes.
-Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap.
-Experience measuring and optimizing front-end performance.
-Experience in integrating with analytics tools (Piwik/Google Analytics).
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator for web design needs.
-Commitment to user experience principles and best practices.
-Ability to develop elegantly designed back-end code to support visually
rich websites.
-Experience integrating data from various APIs and XML data sources.
-Experience building sites with Drupal and Drupal technologies such as
Drush, Features, Views, and Rules.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team and handle
multiple assignments.
-Business analysis and business development skills to support various
functional units.
-Ability to lead the direction of development projects and ensure solutions
are appropriate, cost effective and timely and bridge the gap between high
level organizational strategy and technical details.
-Ability to coordinate ongoing enhancements and maintenance of websites and
custom web applications.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate
effectively with diverse, technical and non-technical audiences.

-Build data expertise and own data quality for the awesome pipelines you
build architect, build and launch new data models that provide intuitive
analytics to your customers design, build and launch extremely efficient &
reliable data pipelines to move data (both large and small amounts) to our
ridiculously large data warehouse
-Design and develop new systems and tools to enable folks to consume and
understand data faster
-Use your expert coding skills across a number of languages from php,
python and javascript
-You have developed applications within the lamp stack environment
-Work across multiple teams in high visibility roles and own the solution
end-to-end

-2+ years of java and/or python development experience is necessary
