[Care2002-developers] care2x installation problems
Hi, Thanx for accepting me in the mailing list. I'm the programmer and while i was installing care2x i got the red color warning and soon the empty page appeared and failing to proceed with installation . Just a try:
Open ./installer/includes/InstallerSmarty.php
Change line 13:
[...]
function InstallerSmarty(){
[...]
With following two lines:
[...]
public function __construct(){
parent::__construct();
[...]
If it is working then and stops on another place then we have isolated
the issue and I can give good advice. On gettext (the follower of 2.7)
we worked on issues like that by refactoring.
It is just a try now but you can't do anything wrong.

Thanx but it doesn't solve and i think there is something missing. After
downloading a fresh copy in linux command
wget http://sourceforge.. , extract and install it goes
successfully.

I downloaded the previous from the same link but manually not in the command
way.
I also want to know the errors associated while installing in window or is
there a different version for window OS as i got the following warning.
a. Before starting installation i got the following:

Yes, that is what I thought is the problem. We fixed all the PHP 5.x
issues but you have PHP 5.3 or higher using by the latest xmapp, right?
I do not have now my VM's up and running to check ( I am working here on
Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS).
Please open your php.ini and look for the tag error_reporting.
Try it with:
error_reporting = E_ALL ~E_DEPRECATED
And you should not have the warnings of depreciated. I guess it is on
your system set to E_ALL.
Restart then your apache and give it a try.
