[Care2002-developers] sf.net updated, please check out the svn project fresh to continue

2012-09-18 Thread Robert Meggle
Hi developer's,

Maybe you got the information as well that sf.net had some changes and
we followed now to the roadmap to the new sf.net. For that we updated
our project and there is one change affecting you too: The code
repository.

When all went ok you should got following information from sf.net:

/
! Your cloned repository svn in project care2002 is now ready for use.
!
! Old repository url: file:///nfs/classic/sf-svn/c/ca/care2002
!
! New repository checkout command: svn checkout
! --username=USER ! svn
! +ssh://USER@svn.code.sf.net/p/care2002/svn/trunk care2002-svn
!
! You and any other developers should do a fresh checkout using the
! new ! repository location.
\

So please check out the project now fresh and you can continue. Sorry
for the circumstances but we should be up to date with sf.net before
they will shutdown all the old project pages.

Thanks
 Robert

Re: [Care2002-developers] sf.net updated, please check out the svn project fresh to continue

2012-09-18 Thread Ap.Muthu
Thanks Robert.

That is exactly what I was doing. The mistake was the last part of the URL -
trunk folder does not exist in the svn folder but exists in each of the
svn subfolders like care2x and care2x-tz

In the example sf user dave (and sf password) case it would be:

svn+ssh://d...@svn.code.sf.net/p/care2002/svn care2002-svn

or for individual repos in separate folders:
svn+ssh://d...@svn.code.sf.net/p/care2002/svn/care2x care2002-svn-care2x
svn+ssh://d...@svn.code.sf.net/p/care2002/svn/care2x-tz
care2002-svn-care2x-tz

Please place this example on the SF page or elsewhere prominently displayed
to avoid needless badgering of the mailing list.

I have placed a similar page (for their Mercurial Repo access) on the
FrontAccounting (another SF project) Wiki at:
http://frontaccounting.com/fawiki/index.php?n=Devel.MercurialUsage

Regards,
Ap.Muthu
