[casper] Problem in FFT initialisation: coeff_gen_init Library must be saved before creating new library links
Hi all, If I put a new FFT into the design, I encounter a problem running the initialisation script with the error message below: Simulink:Commands:AddBlockUnsavedLibrary: Library must be saved before creating new library links Backtrace 1: reuse_block:51 Backtrace 2: coeff_gen_init:410 Backtrace 3: ToggleModelParamAndUpdateCB:486 I see Glen had a similar issue on 8 November 2013, but the final solution wasn't posted to the mail archive. I've stepped through the code, and it appears to come from line 51 in reuse_block.m add_block(refblk, [blk, '/',name], . Are there any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this? Re: [casper] Roach 2 telnetd
I'm no expert, but if you're running soloboot, once the roach2 has gotten served an IP address, you should be able to just telnet in on port 7147. There shouldn't need to be any changes. Also, for ROACH2 ssh only works on netboot, but the NFS filesystem isn't well developed / maintained. SSH shouldn't be super necessary. Not sure how to get telnet to work... Any ideas? ON our roach 1, we use ssh, and run sshd on it. Can roach2 run sshd? Tim Madden Argonne Lab

[casper] Netfpga
Hi all, Today I had a fun meeting with Andrew Moore at Cambridge university, who does some great stuff as part of netfpga (netfpga.org). By the end of it, I wanted some new toys, namely their latest virtex 7 board - https://www.digilentinc.com/Products/Detail.cfm?NavPath=2,719,1327Prod=NETFPGA-10G-SUME It's got a wild academic price of 1700 USD, loads of 13gb transceivers and dsps and whilst it's not in a particularly caspery form factor, I wonder if anyone has any compelling use case for the board. Netfpga have their own design flow, but it would be very possible to support the board in casper flow too. Is anyone interested in this board? Perhaps for use with the Hittite 26gs ADC - https://www.cfa.harvard.edu/twpub/ https://www.cfa.harvard.edu/twpub/SMAwideband/TwentyGspsADC/ADC1X26G_Test_Report_20141030.pdf SMAwideband https://www.cfa.harvard.edu/twpub/SMAwideband/TwentyGspsADC/ADC1X26G_Test_Report_20141030.pdf / https://www.cfa.harvard.edu/twpub/SMAwideband/TwentyGspsADC/ADC1X26G_Test_Report_20141030.pdf TwentyGspsADC https://www.cfa.harvard.edu/twpub/SMAwideband/TwentyGspsADC/ADC1X26G_Test_Report_20141030.pdf /ADC1X26G_Test_Report_20141030. https://www.cfa.harvard.edu/twpub/SMAwideband/TwentyGspsADC/ADC1X26G_Test_Report_20141030.pdf pdf https://www.cfa.harvard.edu/twpub/SMAwideband/TwentyGspsADC/ADC1X26G_Test_Report_20141030.pdf or as a correlator/beamformer back end? Basically, I'm looking for an excuse to buy one. Please, help me out :) Jack PS: read a bit about the what the board's being developed for here - http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~nz247/publications/zilberman2014sume.pdf
