Keep in mind that CF 5 Professional is the only version of CF supported on XP Pro, there are no current versions of CF Server supported on CF Home. Just an fyi. When I tried to find a PWS for Win ME the Microsoft site said that it was no longer supported for a home system running a version newer than 98, and that all I had to do to install a web server was upgrade Windows to a professional version. There is no PWS for XP. XP Pro has IIS. We used CF5, Apache1.3.22 on XP home and it works great. Just make sure you add the LoadModule line after all other module calls in the init file and you'll be fine. Apache. (I run Apache, CF5 and Oracle 8.01 on my laptop (Win2k). ;p) Okay here's my problem: I use my laptop as a portable cold fusion design station. (You know For those afternoon trips to starbucks) Right now I have cold Fusion Studio, Cold fusion server 4.5 and Microsoft personal web server as My web server. (Remember it's on my laptop, all I have to do is check One page on at time while I sip my chai...) My questions are: what is the personal web server equivalent for XP. Can I do the same thing on XP?
