Re: [cisco-voip] RTMT??? or some other way to monitor a phone
RTMT has a device search that let's you filter by device pool or subnet. Re: [cisco-voip] RTMT??? or some other way to monitor a phone
If you have your CM's pointed at syslog somewhere you can probably sort through those and pull out the unregister messages like: May 08 2015 15:15:00.136 UTC : %UC_CALLMANAGER-3-EndPointUnregistered: %[ Device name=SEP00137FFD9CCA][Device IP address=10.X.X.X][Protocol=SCCP][ Device type=7][Device description=SAATD SAHelp - 37445][Reason Code=13][ Device MAC address=00137FFD9CCA][IPAddressAttributes=0][App ID=Cisco CallManager][Cluster ID=My-Cluster][Node ID=My-Sub]: An endpoint has unregistered Would that help? If you've got a fancy logging tool like splunk you could graph or to statistics on the events too. Might be able to correlate logs from your wifi deployment also (just guessing!) my 8861 phones are working wirelessly just fine. I have a pilot of about 25 phones. The problem is I have A user who is complaining that the phone unregisters and registers from time to time. Re: [cisco-voip] RTMT??? or some other way to monitor a phone
You can pull the sdl traces off the node the phone is registered with for a time range and it will show the rev/unreg events. In my experience with wireless phone deployments, sometimes users blur the lines between unregistered and not with a coverage area. Which are to very different things.
