I like it.  Perhaps the Northeast Rendezvous could be the weekend before or 
after?  If so, the Admiral and I would be tempted to attend both with a week of 
land touring in between.  
Baltimore is a good location.  The Admiral and I spent a couple nights at the 
Inner Harbor after last year's rendezvous.  Touring the old ships was pretty 
cool.
I just wish there were enough listers on the northern Gulf Coast for a 
rendezvous here.

YOU GO JOHN.  Some skippers would attend several rendezvous dates as long as 
they are spread out.   The Baltimore event looks scheduled and Edd Shillay 
seems open to a Florida rendezvous this winter.  I encourage everyone to 
participate and meet up at these get togethers where ever they happen and when 
time permits as the people are rare and wonderful.  So glad I drove to the St 
Michaels gathering.  I plan to get my boat to the next one, but I'd fly to 
Florida at the right time of year, maybe others, I'd drive.Sent from my

Baltimore sounds good. My wife is a Baltimoron so we’re familiar with the 
venue. Why, I’d even attend. If my boat was in the water. Which at my rate of 
rebuild progress it might just, sort of, maybe, hopefully, be ready. ;-)

Nonetheless, my dock is being rebuilt right at the moment and will have a 
couple of C slips available for anyone transiting North on the 
Chesapeake Bay should an overnight stay be required. Two day jump to Charm City 
from here.

I was intentionally trying to keep far enough away date wise so that people
could maybe more easily justify going to both east coast rendezvous'.  I
enjoyed going to the NER and would love to see northerners come to the
MAR.  The reality is that almost all of the attendees no matter where it is
held will be local-ish to the area.

As for the northeast, I suppose David Risch could take up that mantle again, 
but be warned, he has a habit of not showing up. 

 

In all seriousness though, even though I many be a thousand miles away, I’d be 
happy to assist any rendezvous planning. If there are decent hotels nearby, I 
may even fly to one or two.

It is true, I have relocated from the chilly Northeast to sunny Florida — and 
therefore will not be planning any further Northeast Rendezvouses. 

Maybe 2020 needs a Southeast Rendezvous….. h….. 

As for the northeast, I suppose David Risch could take up that mantle again,

after?  If so, the Admiral and I would be tempted to attend both with a week of 
land touring in between.  
Baltimore is a good location.  The Admiral and I spent a couple nights at the 
Inner Harbor after last year's rendezvous.  Touring the old ships was pretty 
cool.
I just wish there were enough listers on the northern Gulf Coast for a 
rendezvous here.
