I second Greenport. Goods slips lots of restaurants and a short trip for me

Active captain review says 8 ft at low tide on Milford Landing approach, some
slips are 5 ft and to check with management.
If Clinton or Milford don't work I would also suggest Greenport NY - Mitchell
Park Marina - Great spot with loads of bars, restaurants, shopping, etc.
Cheap slips off season (floating, concrete, inside a breakwater)!
