I get stuck in details sometimes; my apologies if I got too dramatic. I agree that having the additional status could be quite useful. As a plugin user, even if a plugin failed it may turn out that the reason it failed does not affect my situation; and so I would want to download and use it anyway. Or if it passed, there might even be something in the notes that would caution me. As a plugin publisher, I might loose track of email; having the status/comments at hand would be useful. In any event, the primary issue is taken care of. The homepage now looks perfect. Also there is now clear indication that verification failed on the plugin detail page. The only missing piece in my opinion is some log with details on the verification such as: [2020-01-09] Jiří Kovalský voted NoGo with this justification: "Testing rejection of verification. Please ignore this decision." I recommend that the Download matrix splits "NB 11.0 - Verification failed" link into two separate links. "NB 11.0" would continue to serve the binary and "Verification failed" would open a popup with more information on the failed verification. I am saying that if a plugin fails verification, it should not say "NetBeans compatible". I am saying that there should be an indication that the plugin failed verification. Possibly even why it failed. If a plugin does not load into the IDE, then it should not be shown as compatible with that IDE. Currently the plugin portal says the jVi plugin is compatible with NetBeans 11. Verification showed that it failed to load. Verification is extra thing which promote plugin to catalog consumed by IDE. Non verified plugin still might be compatible with IDE.
