No Problem. But, for NetBeans to pick up jdk 10, you have to take either of the
following steps :

1) Specify jdk location on /etc/netbeans.conf

2) Go to Tools -> Java Platforms -> Add Platform, and then add jdk 10 as a
platform.

As I told in the previous message, it works, I just noticed that it didn't pick
jdk10 as default, it went for jdk8 so I had to specify it in netbeans.conf

Sorry I didn't express myself well

I have tried the usecase and if netbeans_jdkhome is specified in netbeans.conf
file, and then netbeans64.exe is ran, then it will pick up the jdk specified in
the netbeans.conf file. i.e it works

If you want your ide to pick up jdk9 or jdk10, you would need to specify it in
the netbeans.conf file

How are you trying to run NetBeans ?

You should run "netbeans64.exe", because that picks up the configuration from
netbeans.conf file

Whereas if you are using ant tryme, you would need to specify jdk home while
running the tryme command as ant tryme -Dtryme.jdkhome="C:\Program
Files\Java\jdk-10" , because tryme doesn't look at the conf file.

You are getting this message because nb-javac needs to be installed in NetBeans
if you want to utilize the full features of NetBeans 9. This is not an issue.
