Re: full-duplex audio from Wolson codec
Hi, My apologies. Please ignore my earlier mail. I found a couple of responses that confirm that its possible to get full-duplex audio. Thanks, Rukhsana rukhsana ansari wrote: Hi Michael, Since I haven't received a response from the community mailing lists, can you confirm whether the audio drivers have the necessary support to have full-duplex audio required to test a VOIP application on Neo? As I understand it one can switch between a recording and playback mode with the alsa profiles bu this won't do for a VOIP application. I've followed steps at http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/User:Historybuff/notes to independently restore the captureheadset profile and record sound followed by restoring stereosound profile for playback. However, I was looking into the possibility of testing a VOIP application using the usb networking. Based on the above information it looks as if it is not possible to have full-duplex audio for VOIP. Can someone confirm whether this in indeed the case. Also, the default VOIP application that comes with Trolltech's QPE4.3 image for the Neo does not have sound working. Re: Order related inquiries
Thanks. This worked for me. I was using the state abbreviation along with the postal code. -Rukhsana William Lai wrote: On Jul 25, 2007, at 12:16 PM, Myk Melez wrote: rukhsana ansari wrote: Hi, I'd like to order another phone online but am unable to do so for the past several days. That sounds like the problem folks in the US were having when they entered the full name of their state into the State/Province field instead of just the two-letter abbreviation (f.e. California instead of CA). If you're in the US, and you entered the full name of your state into that field, try entering its two-letter abbreviation. Otherwise, if you're in a different country, and you enter something into that field, try entering a variation of it (f.e. a standard postal abbreviation). Yes, this should work. Unfortunately yes, that`s correct. If it gets more delay, I have to cancel the order and change the destination again because I am not there any more... Let me see what I can do.. I did also offer several times to help by opening an European Redistribution point because I run my own online shop for handheld linux devices, but did not get a response. We definitely appreciate the help. We just don`t have the resources to support distribution at this point. Perhaps for phase 2 we can do this.
