Re: GTA04 bundle for sale

2017-02-24 Thread Bob Ham

Hi again,

After some discussion with others, inspection of currency exchange
rates, and further ruminations on my desire to shift the kit, I have
decided to drop the asking price to £550 plus postage, or nearest offer.

Bob

GTA02 for sale on ebay, currently going for $20

2012-12-30 Thread Ian Darwin
I posted this on eBay hoping the world would beat a path to my door, but
they don't seem to have; the GTA02 has only gone up to $20 (as of Dec

been meaning to pick up a GTA02 (or a spare) for dev or testing, this
could be a bargain.

Yes, the GTA02 has WiFi. You can see that
http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Neo_FreeRunner_Hardware

and there is a link to some of the software in the standard Linux ports.
But just to confirm, I was able to connect it to my home LAN without a
hitch; the Android-on-FreeRunner port tht I have installed on it at
present, supports WiFi nicely.

Bare GTA02 motherboards from GTA04 upgrade for sale

Every time we upgrade a GTA02 to a GTA04-Complete (OpenPhoenux)
there remains a spare GTA02 motherboard for which we have no good

But I think the community is much more creative to do something
useful with them (what about making a piece of art out of it ? Isn't
getting it to Guggenheim Museum a real challenge?).

If you are interested, you can buy immediately or make a counter-offer

One GTA04A3 (Early Adopter) board for sale

2012-03-15 Thread Dr. H. Nikolaus Schaller
Hi all,
we have one GTA04A3 board (Ser #0024) that we do not need
any more for further experiments.

It has two bugs - one is the well known power-down issue of the
UMTS module that has been fixed in the A4 boards. And, the
PCM voice interface appears to have a broken wire which can't
be repaired. I.e. there is no telephony function.

And optical, it does not look nice since it has been used in soldering
experiments.

But everything else (CPU, USB, WLAN, BT, UMTS data, GPS,
Sensors) has been tested to be ok.

Please send me offers by private mail.

OpenMoko Neo FreeRunner GTA02 A6 for Sale

2012-02-04 Thread Bernhard Reiter
I'm selling my OpenMoko Neo FreeRunner GTA02 A6 for € 150 (I bought it
in August 2008 for € 299).
It had the buzz fix applied by Golden Delicious Computers in June 2009.

It comes with the original stylus, recharger, Transcend 512MB Micro SD
card plus SD adpater, packaging, and battery (which lasts probably not
as long as in the beginning anymore), *plus* a spare one which was only
very rarely used, and a headset.

It's in good (though obviously not mint) condition. I've just flashed it
to a fresh QtMoko v35.
This might also be an interesting purchase for people considering GTA04
currently offered by Golden Delicious Computers.

I'm located in Linz, Austria. I'm willing to ship the phone to locations
in Austria or (most of) Europe at the rates given below. For other
locations, I'd need to calculate the shipping rates before I can agree
to ship there.
Picking it up at my place at no extra cost (and paying cash;-) is also
okay. I might travel to Vienna within the next month, to which I could
also take it, but that's not quite certain yet.

For payment, I'd prefer
• normal money transfer (for which I will provide my IBAN/BIC data); I
will ship an insured package after having received the money, at € 4.30
(Austria) or € 13.50 (Europe).
• or COD (=Nachnahme), but only after having received at least the
shipping costs by money transfer, which in this case are € 7.80
(Austria) or € 18 (Europe).

Ah yes, knew I'd forgotten something. The sticker inside says the following:

GSM 850/1800/1900

Freerunner for sale

2010-05-22 Thread Tracy Reed
I bought this Freerunner when it was first released as part of the San
Diego group buy back in July 2008. Although I was excited to do so at
the time my ability to work with it and develop for it has been pretty
much non-existent in the intervening two years. It has sat on my shelf
doing nothing pretty much the whole time. I think I carried it on me
two days and flashed/upgraded it twice in the whole time I have had
it.

It is time to let it go. So if anyone wants this like-new condition
Freerunner please make me your best offer + shipping from San Diego to
you (or local pickup). Best offer takes it.

Note that this is among the first batch of Freerunners that
shipped. So it will not have any hardware fixes that may have been
applied to production after the initial release.

Thanks

Just a quick plug to say we've currently got batteries on offer, £14.69
including uk pp and vat, or 2 for £26.44

https://www.truebox.co.uk/trueboxportal/index.php?wk=Shopthiscat=8

We've got a small number of phones and debug kits left too - A7 version.

We can probably do a deal for quantities - send a message via our website if

[ALL] Freerunner GTA02v5 for Sale in Hungary

2010-01-04 Thread Thomas Otterbein
Dear all,

after month and month of trying and always failing at one point I finally gave
up on my Freerunner. I've got to admit that I prefer my phone to be unfree,
but working (well mostly) right away.
For those of you who stay with the FR I've got to offer:

- A buzz-fixed GTA02v5, that I bought in November 2008 in Germany.
- A second battery that I got during buzz-fix
- The Power Adapter
- The nice black box it came in

I'll keep the parts that are bug-free, that is the Mini-USB, the Stylus, the
SD and the Pouch. ;-)

The FR is in good condition since I've never really used it as my daily phone.
Every try lasted only for a couple of days until it did not answer calls
anymore, did not wakeup from suspend, lost SMS etc. - you know...

I'd like to receive 100,- EUR for it + Shipping Cost that may apply. I'm
located in Hungary (Budapest).

Best Regards
  thomas

Freerunner (GTA02v5) for sale

2010-01-02 Thread Marcel
Moin!

I'm offering a Freerunner from the second batch that came from Taiwan.
It has an InvisibleShield screen protector on - once had the body shield
on, too, but that things not very nice compared to the FR's smooth matte
surface. The device did not receive a buzz fix so far, but on my rare
calls I didn't notice buzzing heavy enough to really annoy me.

The package contains:
- Freerunner GTA02v5 20080619
- Original Battery
- USB-Cable
- Wall charger with both adaptors
- 4GB µSD card with normal SD adaptor and protective case
- Laser-/LED-Pen
- The most famous Thank-You-Card ever ;)

I'd like to receive 160€ (excl. shipping) for it - or best offer.

2009-11-27 Thread Michel
Hi,

Not enough time and other priorities make that I have to part with my

Charger with all the setup pieces
Original multi purpose pen (light, laser light etc.)

Freerunner A6 for sale in Ireland or New Zealand

2009-10-19 Thread Matt Brown
Hi,

I'm selling my Freerunner. I purchased it from Pulster over a year ago
and used it for several months before I received an Android phone and
sadly my Freerunner has been sitting gathering dust since then. I'd
rather someone who had the time was using it for something useful, so
I'm putting it on the market. It's in excellent condition:

GTA02 A6 - Serial 8A8810247
- Original box
- Charger with foreign adaptors
- 512MB microSD card and SD card adapter

No USB cable (missing in shipment from Pulster)
No Stylus/Laser pen (lost)

I'm asking 200 euro for the phone + shipping, any reasonable offer
considered especially if you can pickup the phone from me and save me
having to organise shipping :)

I'm currently in Dublin and will be in New Zealand over the next few
weeks as well. I can ship the phone from either location as necessary.

Replies by private mail please.

Re: Broken FR for sale

2009-09-05 Thread The Digital Pioneer
Well, IDK how it's useful for home automation, if it doesn't have a
screen... Perhaps you mean as a server, not a client, but even so, that
requires a lot of hardware and skill I don't have. :P Also, seeing as I
don't have a car, only a bike, it wouldn't be particularly useful for
tracking a stolen vehicle, even if the GPS was working.

About the only thing I can think of that it would be useful to me for is to
trade it in for an A7 (or at least something with a buzzfix) with a working
screen, and get a huge discount for it. I have no idea if that's feasible,
but my gut says no.

Now, if anyone wants to sell me a screen, I'm very interested. It would be
fun to try to repair it, although probabilistically speaking I would be more
likely to break every component in the phone that does work, including the
new screen, when I tried to replace it... Nevertheless, it's worth a shot.
But for now, that's a dead end unless I can find a touchscreen that fits in
it.

I highly bet this is a custom part.

Really 70$ is not much, for me, the shipping cost would be about the same.
So really, keep it (if you are planning to buy a new freerunner).

FR for Sale BlowOut @ $150

2009-09-04 Thread Michael Fisher
I am selling my second FreeRunner. I am willing to sell it for $150 to
give someone the chance to get involved and work with the free
software and hardware. If there is no interest through the weekend,
I'll use it as a WiFi remote, mp3 and/or video player.

It's in near perfect condition, essentially no use and when I did
try it out there was no noise during calls. I'm also including a GPS
Antenna which plugs into the side.

Get it now!

GTA02
S/N 8A8604098
-Foreign adapters
- Wall charger
- USB cable
- 2Gb Memory card
-Extra battery
-Pouch
-Original Box
-GPS Antenna

$150 PayPal

Will ship free anywhere in the continental US

Well, the irritating thing is, There is NOTHING a screenless FR can do that
my laptop can't, and if I need a computer to make it do anything
interesting, then what's the point in having a 400MHz processor do it
instead of my 2.0GHz dual-core? :P

The stupid GPS doesn't even work anymore, apparently a software issue, but
one I cannot fix anyways. Dos1 had the same problem, and his magically
started working again. Mine committed suicide first. :(

don't you have ssh access? you can still do fun stuff with the FR even if
you don't have a screen, and with time maybe you'll find a screen that fits
for a nice price. In the mean time you use the Nokia 1208 to send sms and
call friends and family :)

A6 for sale in Australia

2009-08-17 Thread Michael Smith
Hi All,

I bought a five pack of GSM-900 openmoko phones. One I am keeping (very
happy now that I am running OM.2009). Three I have sold to other
people. The price for the last phone is 336.42 Australian dollars. That
is exactly one fifth of the price I paid for the pack, including GST
and customs charges. The price includes shipping within Australia.

This phone is unopened, still in the original packaging.

Freerunner for sale! (Germany)

Hi!

I'm selling my Freerunner (originally sold by Pulster). I used it for about a
year, so it's not really in mint condition, but it's ok. Everything works, but
there's a small (3mm) but visible scratch in the middle of the display. I got
the buzzfix by golden delicious, so it comes with a second new battery. You get
everything from the original packaging:

Openmoko Freerunner with Buzzfix
Power cable with two adaptors
Laserpen (w/o batteries)
USB-cable
black/green box
Invoice
2 original batteries
512MB uSD-card
Original Invoice and Handbook.

If you are interested, make me a reasonable offer in EURO via mail:

Alas the dream didn't come true for me. I need a phone with a reliable
calendar/alarm system, and I don't see any of the Openmoko distros
delivering that any time soon. I'm going to pick up a Palm Pre, since
that at least has a real Linux under the hood. My Neo is thus for sale.

GTA02
S/N 8A8604276
charger + foreign adapters
two batteries
headphones
pouch
original box (with a big mailing label on it)
screen protector
buzz fix applied by SDG Systems
boots fine

$200

I'm in Silicon Valley, and will mail it anywhere in the US for free.

Debug board for sale

2009-07-27 Thread Steve 'dillo Okay (Roadknight Mobility Labs)
I bought a debug board with my FR in Jan 2009. I think I took it out
of the anti-static bag once and that's it.
Other than that, it's been sitting there. I don't even remember
booting it once.
I've got too many other projects demanding too much attention to make
use of it any time soon.
Said projects are also demanding $$$, so I really don't want to donate
it.
I'd prefer to sell it locally here in the SF Bay Area, but would
entertain other options if somebody really wanted it.

You get:
Debug board
standoffs
screwdriver
USB mini B cable.
in original box/packing.

$85 OBO

Steve

Hello Mickael.
I don't want to by one but Paul Fertser fercerpav(at)gmail.com is
looking for neo1973.
He wants to improve power consumption issues for all Neo1973 owners.
Maybe you can donate/offer some cheap price for one of the Neos

Depending on the price I would be interested for development purposes.

Just curious, what was the reason for this?

I'm going to disassemble the device and to even desolder some parts to
measure current consumption of various components, so condition doesn't
matter much to me :)

I don't want to hurt OM's sales, but why not buy directly from SDG Systems?

It seems they are selling the A6 version with the buzz fix pre-installed.

$250 is a very appealing price. I just wanted to confirm my

the buzz fix is applied and b) it has a newer GSM firmware (which I
can flash myself anyway, so not a big deal.)

If my understanding is correct, then it sounds like a great deal,
especially if I'm able to ship it to SDG Systems for them to apply fhe
 fix for me.
