Hi, So I guess you could start connman (it would be nice if you replied to your other mails telling if it went well or not btw) I/O error is usually because the connection misses some information. Do you run the agent in connmanctl? (again, please read connman's documentation) connmanctl agent on That will request you the info which might be needed when connecting (the passphrase for instance). If it's not the problec, then we will need logs: Without logs, it won't be easy to tell what's happening. - stop wpa_supplicant and connman - start wpa_supplicant this way: wpa_supplicant -udddt wpa_s.log - start connman this way:CONNMAN_SUPPLICANT_DEBUG=1 connmand -dn connman.log Paste them on pasteall.org (for instance) and tell us about it. Thank u Patrik. I want to know one thing that is it is required to enable BackgroundScanning in main.conf file or it will be by default true..In this file it was commented.So what it indicates. Hi, ConnMan won't tell you unless: - the chip supports it - and the driver too - and finally wpa_supplicant is built to support it. So if technology p2p does not show up on ConnMan this means at least one this 3 reason might be true. No. And you really can not issue a new scan every second as the scan takes 3-4 seconds to complete. It will also drain any battery you might have. In that case I have either forgotten something or busy with some other stuff. This time the patches have been applied. Reporting the bug in JIRA doesn't in practise expedite the patch. All JIRA notifications come at least to me, and I we'll anyway need a patch on the mailing list. And I'm quite able to miss stuff in JIRA also after the initial issue comments...
