[courier-users] Outlook Express and Eudora
I'm running Courier 0.43.0 and having the following issue: Every now and then a message comes in that has a header but no body. These messages, when pulled down using Courier's POP daemon, are delivered as: header: value header: value header: vlaue . It seems that both Outlook Express and Eudora choke on these messages. They stop retrieving the messages and reject everything else. If the message is altered to: header: value header: value header: value . (obvious blank line after the header) Then the mail client's have no issue. This problem does not exist when using Sendmail. My tests on a different system show that even if a message is sent with no body that Sendmail will alter the message, adding the blank line after the header. Then, when retrieved using pop, the message comes down similar to the second example and never causes an issue with Outlook Express or Eudora. Is there a way to configure Courier to do this? Or is this just the way Courier behaves?
