No you have to do nothing. all servers are automatically registered for
quickplay. you can remove it from quickplay with sv_steamgroup_exclusive 1

its only working in the gamemodes_server.cfg. the command is tv_enable 1
like in source and all other commands that you wrote should work if
sourcetv get released.

At the moment SOURCETV is NOT working.

 An update for steamcmd has just been released that will allow you to run
 multiple instances of it on one machine simultaneously. It will also run on
 Windows even if the Steam UI is running already.



 Some notes:



 · logging in will still “take” that user session, so it will
 logout the main client if you use the same account, and running several
 copies w/ the same account simultaneously is not likely to work well

 · I believe you should be able to run all copies of steamcmd from
 the same install folder, but I’m not 100% sure (I’ve tested it but not
 every possible scenario). So be on the lookout for new weirdness.

 · Otherwise, simultaneous instances that are using different
 accounts should not affect one another at all.

Hi,

on my Arms Race and Demolition server only 1 player can join :/ bot_quota
is on 10 and bot_quota_mode fill. If i kick the bots 10 players can join.
How can i fix this? If a player joins the server list shows only 1/1. And
before he joined was 0/10.

thank you for your fast answer. I deleted now the gamemodes.txt (cause i
made there changes instead of the gamemodes_server.txt), restarted the
server but the file  was not downloaded by the server. Do you have the
original gamemodes.txt or should i validate the server files?

 Hi Philip.

 This is quite a common problem. May I ask if this is a new or upgraded
 version of the dedicated server? For us, the only way we've got round it is
 to disable bots all together. There seems to be a bug with the bots + how
 the player slots are presented in the server browser.

 Other possible fixes include deleting the gamemodes text file and get the
 server to re download the file.

  I tend to agree. The whole counter-strike started with hostage rescue
 and later came bomb defuse. So wtf, why force servers to run either of the
 2 but not both? I seriously fail to understand why they change the basic
 things so much and make our lives harder.

PS: i saw that you're using de_dust2. I tried it now with dust2 and its
working. the bug was fixed with changeing the mapgroup to mg_bomb.. you
tried to start the server without this script?

try it so: ./srcds_run -game csgo -console -usercon -tickrate 192
+game_type 0 +game_mode 1 +mapgroup mg_bomb +map de_dust2 -port 27015
+maxplayers 10 (without quotes)

  sv_allow_lobby_connect_only 1

  But there are also some disadvantages, if this line is set to 1 only 10
 players are able to join.
 Even if you did everything right so that normally more players would be
 able to join.

 with different ports, but I actually only have this server running now to
 try to isolate the issue. sometimes it will crash on every map change for
 an hour, then it wont crash for several hours, its so random.

At the moment my server runs on 250FPS. It will change a lot if i change
the tickrate  fps_max to 66?

Is this only on one server or on all servers?
If its only on one server:
Does the server uses custom models? Try to disconnect of the server and set
cl_downloadfilter all in the console and rejoin.

 I use linux for our server that is going well after joining with bots
 about 15 minutes until it is at 12/24 players. Since yesterday I have a
 little problem that soon or later it crashes (couldn´t find a reason for it
 yet). I don´t want to check it every 10 minutes, because there´s a real
 life outside, too, and i woult like to know whether there is any
 possibility to let it autorestart. At CS:S there was an
 autorestart-function but I think it doesn´t work for csgo at the moment.
