[CTRL] The Grand Chess Board
-Caveat Lector- The Grand Chess Board A War in the Planning for Four Years HOW STUPID DO THEY THINK WE ARE? Zbigniew Brzezinski and the CFR Put War Plans In a 1997 Book - It Is "A Blueprint for World Dictatorship," Says a Former German Defense and NATO Official Who Warned of Global Domination in 1984, in an Exclusive Interview With FTW by Michael C. Ruppert [© Copyright 2001. All Rights Reserved, Michael C. Ruppert and From The Wilderness Publications, www.copvcia.com.] May be copied or distributed for non-profit purposes only. Posting on any ".com" web site is prohibited without express written consent from the author.] Summary "THE GRAND CHESSBOARD - American Primacy And It's Geostrategic Imperatives," Zbigniew Brzezinski, Basic Books, 1997. These are the very first words in the book: "Ever since the continents started interacting politically, some five hundred years ago, Eurasia has been the center of world power."- p. xiii.æ Eurasia is all of the territory east of Germany and Poland, stretching all the way through Russia and China to the Pacific Ocean. It includes the Middle East and most of the Indian subcontinent. The key to controlling Eurasia, says Brzezinski, is controlling the Central Asian Republics. And the key to controlling the Central Asian republics is Uzbekistan. Thus, it comes as no surprise that Uzbekistan was forcefully mentioned by President George W. Bush in his address to a joint session of Congress, just days after the attacks of September 11, as the very first place that the U.S. military would be deployed. As FTW has documented in previous stories, major deployments of U.S. and British forces had taken place before the attacks. And the U.S. Army and the CIA had been active in Uzbekistan for several years. There is now evidence that what the world is witnessing is a cold and calculated war plan - at least four years in the making - and that, from reading Brzezinski's own words about Pearl Harbor, the World Trade Center attacks were just the trigger needed to set the final conquest in motion. -- FTW, November 7, 2001, 1200 PST (Revised Jan. 21,2001) - There's a quote often attributed to Allen Dulles after it was noted that the final 1964 report of the Warren Commission on the assassination of JFK contained dramatic inconsistencies. Those inconsistencies, in effect, disproved the Commission's own final conclusion that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone on November 22, 1963. Dulles, a career spy, Wall Street lawyer, the CIA director whom JFK had fired after the 1961 Bay of Pigs fiasco - and the Warren Commission member who took charge of the investigation and final report - is reported to have said, "The American people don't read." Some Americans do read. So do Europeans and Asians and Africans and Latin Americans. World events since the attacks of September 11, 2001 have not only been predicted, but also planned, orchestrated and - as their architects would like to believe - controlled. The current Central Asian war is not a response to terrorism, nor is it a reaction to Islamic fundamentalism. It is in fact, in the words of one of the most powerful men on the planet, the beginning of a final conflict before total world domination by the United States leads to the dissolution of all national governments. This, says Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) member and former Carter National Security Advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski, will lead to nation states being incorporated into a new world order, controlled solely by economic interests as dictated by banks, corporations and ruling elites concerned with the maintenance (by manipulation and war) of their power. As a means of intimidation for the unenlightened reader who happens upon this frightening plan - the plan of the CFR - Brzezinski offer s the alternative of a world in chaos unless the U.S. controls the planet by whatever means are necessary and likely to succeed. This position is corroborated by Dr. Johannes B. Koeppl, Ph.D. a former German defense ministry official and advisor to former NATO Secretary General Manfred Werner. On November 6, he told FTW, "The interests behind the Bush Administration, such as the CFR, The Trilateral Commission - founded by Brzezinski for David Rockefeller - and the Bilderberger Group, have prepared for and are now moving to implement open world dictatorship within the next five years. They are not fighting against terrorists. They are fighting against citizens." Brzezinski's own words - laid against the current official line that the United States is waging a war to end terrorism - are self-incriminating. In an ongoing series of articles, FTW has consistently established that the U.S. government had foreknowledge of the World Trade Center attacks and chose not to stop them because it needed to secure public approval for a war that is now in progress. It is a war, as described by Vice President Dick Cheney, "that may not end in our li
[CTRL] Albert Pike & the Plan for Three World Wars
-Caveat Lector- Albert Pike & the Plan for Three World Wars Very few outsiders know about the intimate plans of the architects of the New World Order. One such architect was Albert Pike, who in the 19th Century, established a framework for bringing about the One World Order. Based on a vision revealed to him, Albert Pike wrote out a blueprint of events that would play themselves out in the 20th century, with even more of these events yet to come. It is this blueprint which we believe unseen leaders are following today to engineer the planned Third and Final World War. About Albert Pike Pike was born on December 29, 1809, in Boston, studied at Harvard, then later served as a Brigadier-General in the Confederate Army. After the Civil War, Pike was found guilty of treason and jailed, only to be pardoned by fellow Freemason President Andrew Johnson on April 22, 1866, who met with him the next day at the White House. On June 20, 1867, Scottish Rite officials conferred upon Johnson the 4th - 32nd degrees, and he later went to Boston to dedicate a Masonic Temple. The only monument to a Confederate general in Washington, D.C. was erected in Pike's honor, and it can be found between the Department of Labor building and the Municipal Building, between 3rd and 4th Streets, on D Street, NW. Pike was a genius, able to read and write in 16 different languages. A 33rd degree Mason, he was one of the founding fathers, and head of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, being the Grand Commander of North American Freemasonry from 1859-1891. In 1869, he was a top leader in the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. In 1871, he wrote the 861 page Masonic handbook known as the Morals and Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Rite of Freemasonry. Pike was said to be a Satanist, who indulged in the occult, and he apparently possessed a bracelet which he used to summon Lucifer, with whom he had constant communication. He was the Grand Master of a Luciferian group known as the Order of the Palladium (or Sovereign Council of Wisdom), which had been founded in Paris in 1737. Palladism had been brought to Greece from Egypt by Pythagoras in the fifth century, and it was this cult of Satan that was introduced to the inner circle of the Masonic lodges. It was aligned with the Palladium of the Templars. In 1801, Issac Long, a Jew, brought a statue of Baphomet (Satan) to Charleston, South Carolina, where he helped to establish the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. Long apparently chose Charleston because it was geographically located on the 33rd parallel of latitude (incidentally, so is Baghdad), and this council is considered to be the Mother Supreme Council of all Masonic Lodges of the World. Pike was Long's successor, and he changed the name of the Order to the New and Reformed Palladian Rite (or Reformed Palladium). The Order contained two degrees: 1) Adelph (or Brother), and 2) Companion of Ulysses (or Companion of Penelope). Pike's right-hand man was Phileas Walder, from Switzerland, who was a former Lutheran minister, a Masonic leader, occultist, and spiritualist. Pike also worked closely with Giusseppe Mazzini of Italy (1805-1872) who was a 33rd degree Mason, who became head of the Illuminati in 1834, and who founded the Mafia in 1860. Together with Mazzini, Lord Henry Palmerston of England (1784-1865, 33rd degree Mason), and Otto von Bismarck from Germany (1815-1898, 33rd degree Mason), Albert Pike intended to use the Palladian Rite to create a Satanic umbrella group that would tie all Masonic groups together. Because of Mazzini's revolutionary activities in Europe, the Illuminati had to go underground. In addition to the Supreme Council in Charleston, South Carolina, Pike established Supreme Councils in Rome, Italy (led by Mazzini); London, England (led by Palmerston); and Berlin, Germany (led by Bismarck). He set up 23 subordinate councils in strategic places throughout the world, including five Grand Central Directories in Washington, DC (North America), Montevideo (South America), Naples (Europe), Calcutta (Asia), and Mauritius (Africa), which were used to gather information. All of these branches have been the secret headquarters for the Illuminati's activities ever since. After Mazzini's death on March 11, 1872, Pike appointed Adriano Lemmi (1822-1896, 33rd degree Mason), a banker from Florence, Italy, to run their subversive activities in Europe. Lemmi was a supporter of patriot and revolutionary Giuseppe Garibaldi, and may have been active in the Luciferian Society founded by Pike. Morals and Dogma One of the major sourcebooks of Masonic doctrine is Morals and Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Masonry, written in 1871 by Albert Pike, and is considered to be the "Mason's guide for daily living In it Masonry is a search after Light..." In Morals and Dogma, Pike wrote: "Every Masonic lodge is a temple of religion; and its teachings are inst

George Soros, the billionaire dissident... Billionaires for regime change? I love it.The elite consensus must be shifting away from Bush for President in 2004. That's why the rainmakers appear to have already blessed another Bonesman, John Kerry, to "run" against Bush:If Bush is rejected in 2004, his policies can be written off as an aberration and America resume its rightful place in the world. But if he is re-elected, the electorate will have endorsed his policies and we will have to live with the consequences. But it isn't enough to defeat Bush at the polls. The US must examine its global role and adopt a more constructive vision. We cannot merely pursue narrow, national self-interest. Our dominant position imposes a unique responsibility. Here it is again: the heavily quoted passage from Carroll Quigley's, Tragedy and Hope: A History of the World in our Time:The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can "throw the rascals out" at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.Sure. John Kerry, a member of Skull and Bones, who personally slaughtered civilians in Vietnam, will be a real reformer. He will make everything right as rain. He will... He will...Americans might as well smoke crack on election day, 2004.More: Mike Ruppert Called This Long Ago :.I have a long history with Kerry. Back in 1986, 1987, and 1988, I was in contact with his office and his chief of staff Jonathan Winer on a number of occasions about CIA drug trafficking. They eagerly asked for any material I could send them and gave me a direct line. It was one of my most bitter lessons about how hot issues are controlled. Kerry, in charge of the potentially explosive Iran-Contra drug hearings succeeded in producing a 1,200-page record that was a treasure trove of information for researchers, but absolutely useless in unraveling a corruption that controls the US government to this day. What lies buried in those pages was enough to have turned the American political system inside out. In the end, its greatest usefulness was as a benchmark against which to compare the CIA's investigation of itself after the 1996 Dark Alliance stories and hard revelations of CIA connections to cocaine smuggling that Kerry knew all about anyway. Those of us close to the issue took the lemons Kerry had left us and made lemonade, as we forced the CIA Inspector General to reconcile his 1998 report with what we already knew was in Kerry's.And still - as intended - nothing changed. John Kerry had successfully contained what was, up to that time, the biggest scandal in American history.Wealthy in his own right, Kerry's fortune has been reinforced by the wealth of his wife (heir to the Heinz food fortune), estimated by the Associated Press at $550 million. This is old money and deeply rooted in establishment politics. A key sign that Kerry might be the anointed one came for me when George W. Bush's chief counter-terrorism adviser Rand Beers resigned in a dramatic moment last June, in protest over Bush's handling of the war on terror and his headlong rush into Iraq. Beers immediately became Kerry's senior foreign policy advisor, as Kerry continued to state that he would improve on and expand the war on terror. Beers' protestations concealed what I considered to be a much more sinister objective, the placement of a key, hands-on operative to manage a smooth transition of power and a continuation of

[CTRL] BBC buys up 'Hutton inquiry' Google links
-Caveat Lector- Talk about controlling the news!! http://media.guardian.co.uk/print/0,3858,4843395-105559,00.html BBC buys up 'Hutton inquiry' Google links Owen GibsonMonday January 26, 2004The Guardian Just 48 hours before Lord Hutton delivers his verdict on the controversy surrounding the death of Dr David Kelly, the BBC has begun an advertising experiment that involves buying up all internet search terms relating to the inquiry. Despite being one of the main players in the drama, anyone searching for "Hutton inquiry" or "Hutton report" on the UK's most popular search engine Google is automatically directed to a paid-for link to BBC Online's own news coverage of the inquiry. No other news broadcaster or any newspaper has paid Google for this facility, leaving the corporation's move even more conspicuous. As one of the chief "interested parties" in the Hutton inquiry into the apparent suicide of Dr Kelly, the move will strike many as worthy of comment, not least because the BBC's online news pages will not be the most obvious place to go for the most comprehensive coverage, which is bound to include painful criticism of the corporation. It will also raise questions about the use of licence payers' money at a time when the corporation faces criticism for spending so much money online from private rivals including the Guardian, the Telegraph and the Times newspapers. Through Google's Ad Words service advertisers can bid to buy up search terms that relate to their business. The more they bid, the higher up their link is shown on the right-hand side of the page next to Google's normal results sorted by relevancy. The chain of events that led to Dr Kelly's apparent suicide began with Andrew Gilligan's report on the Radio 4's Today programme alleging that the government had "sexed up" an intelligence dossier on Iraq and sparking the corporation's bitter row with the government. Despite the sensitive climate surrounding the publication of Lord Hutton's report, the BBC's marketing department has decided to focus on the BBC website's in-depth coverage of the inquiry as part of a drive to attract new users. The BBC is experimenting for the first time with paid-for search advertising, a relatively new form of new media marketing that has given a fillip to internet companies. Last week internet giant Yahoo! ascribed most of its 62% rise in profits to its purchase of paid-for search company Overture. Overture and UK company E-Spotting are the main players, while search giant Google offers its own version through Ad Words. In all cases, advertisers bid for key words but only pay when a searcher clicks on the link. And because the listing is only displayed when a user searches for a specific term, the medium boasts a much higher "click-through rate" than other forms of online advertising. The two-week trial will come out of the BBC's £63.5m annual marketing budget and a BBC spokesman said that, if successful, the trial would be extended. He added that the corporation was bidding on a number of search terms relating to its news and sports coverage in an effort to drive users to in depth content that they might otherwise miss. "The idea behind it is to attract people that would not normally come to BBC.co.uk and add to our 8.4 million existing monthly users. It's very cost effective because we're appealing to people who are already online and looking for information on a specific subject," said the spokesman. · To contact the MediaGuardian newsdesk email [EMAIL PROTECTED] or phone 020 7239 9857· If you are writing a comment for publication, please mark clearly "for publication". -Caveat Lector- http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/articles/8833326?source=Ev This isLONDON27/01/04 - News and city section Was Dr Kelly murdered?By Isabel Oakeshott and Hugh Dougherty, Evening Standard Medical experts today raised the possibility that weapons expert David Kelly did not kill himself. Three senior specialists said they could not accept the evidence of how Dr Kelly died presented to the Hutton Inquiry. They believe that the cause of death as told to the inquiry was "improbable" and called for a full inquest, raising the theory that Dr Kelly was murdered. Their dramatic intervention comes the day before publication of Lord Hutton's report into the circumstances surrounding Dr Kelly's death. And at the weekend one of Dr Kelly's closest friends said she did not believe he had committed suicide and claimed he had received death threats. Dr Kelly was found dead near his Oxfordshire home last July after being named as the source of a BBC report claiming the Government "sexed up" a dossier on the threat from Iraq. The inquiry was told that he bled to death after cutting his wrist. There was evidence that he had also taken painkillers. But in a letter to The Guardian the specialistsdetailed flaws in the official explanation given by a Home Office pathologist. The medical experts told the Evening Standard today that they were not accusing anyone of murder but added: "The picture is not a happy one." Today Oxfordshire coroner Nicholas Gardiner, who is considering holding a full inquest into his death, revealed he had received "numerous" letters questioning the account given to the inquiry. The group of specialists, who include a trauma consultant and an anaesthetist, said they believe Dr Kelly could not have died as a result of cutting his wrist and taking an overdose of painkillers. Speaking on behalf of a number of medics, consultant surgeon David Halpin said: "There are all sorts of evidence that are most unsatisfactory. "The picture is not a happy one. We would like this inquest reopened, so that in this very important case, no stone is left unturned." During the Hutton Inquiry forensic pathologist Dr Nicholas Hunt concluded that the scientist bled to death from a selfinflicted wound to his left wrist. Dr Halpin said today: "As specialist medical professionals, we do not consider the evidence given at the Hutton Inquiry has demonstrated that Dr Kelly committed suicide. "We find it difficult to accept that a cut, such as the one described, could result in death. It is very unlikely that this injury would have been fatal." He added: "Because the case was so high profile, I imagined that the autopsy and inquest would be carried out to the highest standard that our state could muster. "But the more I thought about it, the less certain I became that he could have died from a cut to the left wrist." Dr Kelly's body was found slumped by a tree in woods near his home. Lying next to him were the Scout knife he had had since he was a boy, his watch, his flat cap, his glasses, a container of his wife's painkillers and a bottle of water. Dr Hunt told the inquiry that the only artery involved - the ulnar artery - had been completely sliced through. But Dr Halpin, whose views are supported by diagnostic radiologist Stephen Frost, and Searle Sennet, a specialist in anaesthesiology, said: "Arteries in the wrist are of matchstick thickness and severing them does not lead to life-threatening blood loss. "When the artery is completely transected, as apparently happened in this case, it retracts and the blood begins to clot. This limits the blood loss." Today Mr Gardiner told the Standard he has received "numerous" letters questioning the official version of Dr Kelly's death. "This is just one of several I have received to this effect," he said. "I hope to take any views into account on this matter." Mr Gardiner formally handed over the powers of his inquest to Lord Hutton after the Lord Chancellor, Lord Falconer, used a little-known law to order that it be combined with the public inquiry. "I expect to have a hearing in March at which I will make my ruling," said Mr Gardiner today. The Hutton Inquiry had itself heard dramatic evidence that Dr Kelly, 59, had forecast his own death. He told a diplomat: "I will probably be found dead in the woods." In the days before he died, he told one friend: "Many dark actors are playing games." This weekend a friend of Dr Kelly's, Mai Pederson, broke her silence to say that she believed the weapons expert had been killed. She told the Mail on Sunday: "I told police that the fact he was found dead in the woods to me was not surprising. "The fact they said he committed suicide was. His job was dangerous. He knew it could cost him his life. He got death threats." But her statement had not been passed to the Hutton Inquiry and key medical evidence which would normally be made public at an inquest was mar

[CTRL] Three Doctors Dispute How David Kelly Died
-Caveat Lector- http://www.propagandamatrix.com/260104doctorsdispute.html Three Doctors Dispute How David Kelly DiedLetters forwarded to national British newspapersAs medical professionals, a trauma & orthopaedic surgeon, a specialist anaesthesiologist, and a diagnostic radiologist, we do not think evidence given at the Hutton Inquiry has demonstrated that Dr David Kelly committed suicide. Dr Nicholas Hunt, the forensic pathologist who appeared at the Hutton Inquiry, concluded that Dr Kelly bled to death from a self-inflicted wound in his left wrist. We consider this highly improbable. Arteries in the wrist are of matchstick thickness and severing them does not lead to drastic blood loss. Dr Hunt stated that the only artery that had been cut - the ulnar artery - was completely transected. Complete transection means the artery quickly retracts, promoting clotting of the blood:"When an artery is completely divided, the highly elastic quality of its wall causes it to retract into the tissues, thereby diminishing the calibre of the vessel and promoting clotting."A Textbook of Surgery by Christopher, Fourth Edition, 1945, p210 It was reported by the ambulance team that blood at the scene was minimal. It is extremely difficult to lose significant amounts of blood at pressure below 50-60 systolic in a subject who is compensating by vaso-constricting. To have died from haemorrhage, Dr Kelly would have had to lose 3 litres of blood; in our view it is unlikely that Dr Kelly would have lost more than a pint from the wound described.Mr Alexander Allan, the toxicologist testifying at the Inquiry, considered the ingestion of co-proxamol insufficient to cause death. Mr Allan could not show that Dr Kelly had ingested the 29 tablets said to be missing from the packets found. Only a fifth of one tablet was found in his stomach. Although levels of co-proxamol in the blood were higher than therapeutic levels, Mr Allan conceded that the blood level of each of the drug's two components was less than a third of what would normally be found in a fatal overdose. In summary, we dispute that Dr Kelly could have died either from haemorrhage or from co-proxamol ingestion. The coroner, Nicholas Gardiner, has spoken in recent days of resuming the inquest into Dr Kelly's death. If it does re-open, a clear need exists for further scrutiny into Dr Hunt's conclusions regarding the cause of death.Yours sincerelyDavid Halpin, MB BS FRCS Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr C Stephen Frost, BSc, MB ChB Specialist in Diagnostic Radiology (Stockholm, Sweden)Dr Searle Sennett, BSc, MBChB, FFARCS Specialist Anaesthesiologist www.ctrl.org DECLARATION & DISCLAIMER == CTRL is a discussion & informational exchange list. -Caveat Lector- - Original Message - From: mart To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, January 24, 2004 12:55 PM Subject: U.S Occupied Iraq- First hand report from Baghdad - "IGC Turns the Clock Back on Women's Rights" Forward from mart IMPORTANT! - Another first hand report from my contact Dahr Jamail in Baghdad -"IGC TURNS BACK THE CLOCK ON WOMEN' RIGHTS". PLEASE DISTRIBUTE WIDELY!! http://www.newstandardnews.net/content/?action=""> IGC Turns the Clock Back on Women's Rights by Dahr Jamail Baghdad, Iraq , Jan 21 - On January 16, the Iraqi Women’s Organization and women’s rights activists held a conference at the Al-Sayd Club in Baghdad in response to the December 29, 2003 decision by the Iraqi Governing Council (IGC) to pass a bill canceling what is known as the “Personal Status Law,” a set of rules that has long provided opportunities for and protected the rights of women here. The cancellation of this law would mean that Iraqi women will have to rely on religious institutions for personal issues such as marriage and divorce, rather than being allowed to use civilian courts for these matters. It is seen by many as a step toward the implementation of fundamentalist Islamic law. Aljazeera reported on Wednesday, January 21, that around 5,000 Kurdish women marching in the Northeastern Iraq town of Suleimaniyah in protest of the recent IGC decision, while in the Shi’ite town of Najaf, some 500 women demonstrated in support of the decision. The US occupation command (Coalition Provisional Authority, or CPA) in Iraq has stated that it will not endorse the decision by the IGC because it would deprive women of their rights. CPA head L. Paul Bremer must sign off on decisions in order for them to take effect. The CPA also has the power to overrule decisions of the IGC, but has yet to overrule the recent decision, nor stated as to whether they will do so. The bill, known as Decision 137 of the IGC, has triggered a large wave of objections and outcry from the Iraqi people. When asked if he would annul the decision, Adnan al-Pachachi, the current chairman of the IGC, told Kurdsat TV, “I think the decision will not be implemented. It is a decision that is full of legislative loopholes. It was not even approved by the IGC in a normal way.” Neither Al-Pachachi, nor any of the people interviewed for this story, provided justifications for the passing of the bill by the IGC. It is believed by many that certain clerics in the IGC were behind this decision. Only three of the IGC's 25 members are female. Demonstrations by Iraqi women’s organizations and activist groups have ensued, for they say the decision not only threatens the status of women in Iraq, but it endangers the future of Iraqi families. The conference called by the Iraqi Women’s Organization, a Kirkuk-based grassroots group, was attended by Al-Pachachi along with other IGC members, a representative of the CPA, representatives from women’s organizations and various other associations. Several Iraqi ministers also attended to express their rejection of Decision 137. Head of the Gathering of Iraqi Humanitarian Societies and Organizations, Adnan Abdul Aziz, stated to the conference that this move by the IGC is a concentration of sectarianism, and called on them to cancel it immediately. Hundreds of Iraqi women held a sit-in in Baghdad to express their rejection of the IGC’s decision. Women activists also stated the need for the women of Iraq to participate strongly in the rebuilding of their country, saying Decision 137 would greatly impede that. The formulation of the Personal Status Law was originally triggered on July 14, 1958, the day Iraqis toppled the British-installed monarchy. The Law provided Iraqi women a role in their country and granted them many rights. These rights were enjoyed even throughout the reign of Saddam Hussein and his Ba’ath Party. Rana Al-Aiouby, an Iraqi woman who works as an interpreter, stated, “I can’t believe these men. What are they trying to do? I thought they were supposed to be trying to help the people of their country? This does nothing but infuriate us!” Al-Aiouby also stated, “It is clear to all of us that the more fundamentalist members of the IGC are using their power to try to make Iraqi women live like the women in Saudi [Arabia]. Now we are all wondering why the CPA doesn't overrule this decision, when they have the power to do so at anytime?” Ghazwan Al-Mukhtar, an Iraqi ex-engineer, stated, “Of course I know what those idiots at the IGC decide. As if Iraq doesn’t have enough problems right now, they need to make a problem with women’s rights!” Nisreen Brwari, Iraq’s Minister of Public Works, joined a women’s demonstration which condemned the decision. With the New Hampshire primary just 24 hours away, the remaining Democratic candidates are in their final push to win votes in the key poll in the Granite state. Whether or not Howard Dean wins or loses, he set the tone very early for what has become a definitive issue in the race early on: opposition to the war in Iraq. Among the Democrats, Dennis Kucinich, Al Sharpton and Carol Moseley Braun held the most clear antiwar stances. But Braun has pulled out of the race, Al Sharpton is not in New Hampshire and Dennis Kucinich - well the media hardly gives him any airtime. With the exception of Senator Joseph Lieberman, all of the candidates have sought to portray themselves as opponents of the war. But only Kucinich has announced a concrete plan for withdrawing US forces from Iraq. The theme of Iraq is the main issue on which General Wesley Clark is running his campaign. Gen. Wesley Clark, speaking at a rally in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on January 24, 2004. TRANSCRIPT GENERAL WESLEY CLARK: We went to war with Iraq without an imminent threat from Iraq. Without any connection between Iraq and the events of 9-11. We went to war with Iraq before all diplomatic options were exhausted. We went to war with Iraq without our allies all on board. We went to war with Iraq without a clear understanding and a plan for what was going to happen when we did get to Baghdad, and we didn't have the forces on hand to handle the situation. In short, I don't consider the war with Iraq patriotic. It was simply bad leadership and deceptive practices. It was wrong, and I’m going to hold the president of the United States accountable. He didn't do the right thing for America. It's that simple. He didn't do it! Clark portrays himself as the antiwar warrior and his rhetoric against the war has escalated significantly over the past week of campaigning in New Hampshire. At his campaign stops, he has been saying regularly, "The war is wrong." This is not always what he said as one voter pointed out to him onstage. Gen. Wesley Clark, responding to a voter asking about his previous comments on Iraq as a CNN commentator. TRANSCRIPT GENERAL WESLEY CLARK: I was a military analyst and so I looked at everything in great detail. I wasn't allowed on television to talk politics at all. I testified in front of the senate, but the "Boston Globe" did a long piece on my military stuff about three or four days ago. You can find it there. Joanna Weiss wrote it, and she said what's changed is my rhetoric. My rhetoric has changed, because when I wasn't a politician, I couldn't speak out this forcefully, because I didn't have any basis for doing it. I had a military commentary that I gave. I said from the beginning of the war with Iraq, that Iraq wasn't an imminent threat. I said in the beginning that we shouldn't rush into war. I said that it was an elective war. I always believed that he had weapons of mass destruction because that's what the intelligence told us. And I wasn't -- I didn't know how much to rely on the intelligence. In fact, at one point, I had lunch with a bunch of other retired generals, with Donald Rumsfeld just a few months in front of the war and Rumsfeld told me that he knew where 30% of the weapons were. Well, if the secretary of defense tells you personally, I still didn't think it was an imminent threat, but I wasn't privy to the intelligence. He was. They misled the American people, so I didn't think we had to go to war, but I will admit my rhetoric has gotten hars

In a statement, Jim Kouri, vice president of the 14,000-member organization, slams the feds for using "smoke and mirrors in our border security strategy." He also indicts states issuing driver's licenses to illegal aliens. "Even the president of the United States is prepared to reward lawbreakers," he said, referring to President Bush's proposal to legalize millions of illegal aliens in the U.S. Kouri, an Arab-American, says the lack of security on U.S. borders causes the murder of law-enforcement officers as well as civilians. "Border security is the weakest link in our antiterrorism effort it's our Achilles' heel," said Kouri, who claims billions of taxpayer dollars are being wasted on an immigration bureaucracy that does "practically nothing to stop the illegal-alien traffic." The law-enforcement expert and columnist claims the nation's political leaders have a "cynical approach to American sovereignty," winking at the immigration problem to garner votes and adhere to a "suicidal politically correct orthodoxy." Kouri mentioned the case of the murder of a cop by an illegal Mexican alien as a prime example. The alien killed the Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy and then fled across the border back into Mexico. "If these killers aren't afraid to target or kill cops, then who in America is really safe from terrorists, murderers, rapists and other offenders?" Kouri asked, adding, "And anyone wishing to debate the problem is labeled a racist or xenophobe." A contributing editor for Chief of Police Magazine and Police Times, Kouri is author of the book "Assume the Position." -Caveat Lector- The Moon can provide electric power sufficient for 1000 years 01/24/2004 15:13 http://english.pravda.ru/science/19/94/377/11880_Moon.html According to Academician and member of Council on Space of Russian Academy of Science Eric Galimov, the Moon can provide the mankind with electric power sufficient for 1000 years of use. "Scientists think that the Earth supplies of oil, gas and uranium will be exhausted in the 2150s, therefore currently the mankind is required to look for alternative sources of energy", he said in an interview to ITAR-TASS information agency. "Helium-3 is the most promising source of energy, its supplies in the upper layers of the Moon surface are about 500 million tons", the Academician said. There is no this isotope on the Earth, except for several kilograms of it in the depths of our planet. According to Galimov, Helium-3 is "an ideal ecologically safe fuel for nuclear fusion". "Its use produces no radiation, therefore the global problem of nuclear waste burial will cease to exist", - the Academician said. He explained that Helium-3 has been brought to the Moon by solar wind. Scientists discovered this element on the Moon after analyzing its soil samples delivered by Soviet space stations and American astronauts. "To provide the mankind with power sufficient for one year, two or three flights of a spaceship having 10 ton carrying capacity are required", he said. "The expenses on delivering the energy source from the Moon will be ten times less than the cost of the power currently produced by atomic stations", Galimov said. ?ccording to Galimov, delivering Helium-3 from the Moon can become a reality in 30-40 years, but people should start working on it right now". Developing the project "will cost 25-30 million dollars". The Russian scientist offers to etract Helium-3 from the depths of the Moon by means of special "lunar bulldozers", which will warm the soil and then will shovel up the isotope from the surface. "Lunar projects are economically sound and cheap, and Russia is capable of implementing them", said Galimov. [CTRL] UFO-The True Story
-Caveat Lector- UFO-The True Story 01/21/2004 14:25 http://english.pravda.ru/science/19/94/379/11850_ufo.html Our ever-changing epoch tends to reveal even the most hush-hush data including military secrets. Recently, I have come across an interesting article published in this year's first issue of Russian newspaper "Arguments and Facts" ("AIF"). It was entitled "UFOs really do exist". Well, our ever-changing epoch tends to reveal even the most hush-hush data including military secrets. This will be the main subject of this article. Terrestrial origin of the Extraterrestrial Machines The article entitled "UFOs really do exist" informed of a new collaborative process between the Russian company "EKIP" and the American Research Navy Center to create a unique flying apparatus. The article also contained an interesting photograph of a functioning prototype. Well, this is great news indeed. Interestingly, but on February 6th, 1992 Head of a special Government's Committee had stated that he could demonstrate "Russian UFO". True. A disc-like apparatus "EKIP" was able to take off and remain in the air for a while. However, back then, explanations that were given to the general public regarding the actual principle of the flying machine appeared to be quite vague. It was noted that a special "air cushion" could have indeed occurred as a result of a pair of turbo-reactive engines. However, the engines could not have allowed for an absolutely vertical take off. Afterwards, Yeltsin offered the French to "participate in the production process of the machine." Today, after 12 years, the Russian creation is going to the mass production. The operation is being sponsored by American government. In addition, the article also mentions a similar Chinese-Russian project. As a result, such "UFOs of earthly origin" could in fact outshine those mysterious aliens in their unidentified flying objects. However, would it possible to assume that the entire science of ufology is nothing but a mere secretive component of the real story of flying objects? Of the ones that are currently being "created anew" by Russians and sold to Americans? UFO above Krasnoyarsk In December of 1989, Russian town of Krasnoyarsk was overflowing with rumors. People claimed that strange flying objects had been cruising the sky at night, while the local police unit had been observing them messing with electrical posts. Events of that night were later described in tedious details in one of the books entitled "UFO above Krasnoyarsk". However, this was the first and the last time that such objects appeared in the region. Soon afterwards however, a considerable number of local human-mediums began establishing contacts with the cosmos and receiving messages from above. Many refused to believe their gibberish. But what other choice did they have? Everyone really did witness those flying objects patrolling the night"s sky. Where did they come from? In 1995 I have published an article entitled in one of the Krasnoyarsk newspapers entitled "Lie of the century. UFOs are created in Pentagon". Afterwards, several more articles and TV programs followed, all attempting to reveal the mystery behind such phenomenon. That is why it makes me happy to see that the fog around "UFOs" slowly starts to clear. I guess many will agree that genuine truth, no matter how ugly it may be, is better than a pretty lie. A tale of an umbrella-airplane Often, TV documentaries about the history of aviation include some fragments of old newsreels where one can clearly observe rather strange objects among numerous ancient old models of airplanes. The object resembles a typical umbrella with a motor and a pilot. This "umbrella-plane" had been tested in 1911 in the US by a scientist Chance Wood. The umbrella-airplane from the newsreel surely looks quite funny. But do you really think that a practical American will spend his money on creating a flying apparatus for pure fun? Of course, not. The flying> Latest News * The Russian world: icons and ornament * Mysteries of lost civilizations * The Moon can provide electric power sufficient for 1000 years * Whitney Houston travels with a big company * Scientists explain Moses' miracle principle resembles that of traditional airplanes. However, back in 1911, there were no technologies allowing the use of the flying principle to the fullest extent. Afterwards, Chance Wood became the head of a major airplane manufacturing company. Some of his airplanes were oval. However those UFOs that appeared in the States at the end of 40s of the XX century had little in common with traditional airplanes. They resembled giant phone amplifiers. They even had a similar way of working: a thin metal membrane under the influence of a series of electrical magnets began vibrating with an ultrasound frequency. As a result, the airplane was able to take off while being supported by a columnar ring-shaped vortex caused by vibrayion. Shockin

[CTRL] The History of Skull & Bones
-Caveat Lector- http://www.coasttocoastam.com/shows/2004/01/26.html The History of Skull & Bones Monday's guest, conspiracy researcher Kris Millegan (ctrl.org) discussed the history of the "Skull & Bones" secret society which he said got its start in 1832, though its roots extend back to earlier groups in Europe. Calling the organization a "multi-generation cult," Millegan said the Yale University-based group taps 15 juniors each year to join. Skull & Bones members tend to hold powerful positions in society, and Millegan believes their ultimate agenda is to "move this country from a republic to a fascist state," where they can consolidate their control. They accomplish this, he said, by keeping the country on a steady cycle of wars and employing the "Hegelian dialectic," whereby they control history from both the left and the right. However "people can stand up and take our country back," Millegan proposed, citing that the common folk greatly outnumber the members of secret societies. It depicts various levels of organizations, going from larger "outer circle" groups like the CFR, to a smaller "inner core," which is essentially "a secret society within a secret society," he writes. Re: [CTRL] How to cure Holocaust Denial Syndrome?
-Caveat Lector- In a message dated 1/26/2004 11:26:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: > "Obviously the virus of anti-Semitism is far more resilient and determined> than we might have thought in the past," said Rabbi David Rosen, of the> American Jewish Committee. The Rabbi is wrong. It's really difficult to feel tremendous sympathy for a people who are fencing and killing their enemies at what is really an admirable rate, and who kill even those who are trying to get them to ease up on their eradication procedures. Anti-Semitism is not even a pimple in the picture. What we are now watching go on is a kind of reflection of all those horrors that stunned us when we discovered what the Nazi had done in the forties, only now we are watching as the decendents of the survivors of that catastrophe perpetrate a like horror on another people. There is no Holocaust denial here. We are all just wondering why we're being forced to witness another one. [CTRL] 20th Shooting Linked to Ohio Sniper
-Caveat Lector- Where is Charles Moose when we need him? Still chasing the white van? - JR http://customwire.ap.org/dynamic/stories/H/HIGHWAY_SHOOTINGS?SITE=OHCIP&SECTION=HOME Jan 24, 10:19 AM EST 20th Shooting Linked to Ohio Sniper By JOHN McCARTHYAssociated Press Writer COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- A driver whose windshield was pierced by a bullet is the 20th known target of a highway sniper who has struck cars, school buses and buildings, investigators said. In the latest shooting, which occurred Thursday, 30-year-sold Michael Thomas of Columbus said he saw a person standing in shadows on a highway overpass just after the shooting. The driver was not hurt. Investigators have linked 19 previous shootings that took place on or near a section of Interstate 270 on Columbus' south side. Thursday's shooting occurred about eight miles south of I-270. "All of a sudden I heard this 'pow,'" Thomas said Friday. "I looked up at my window and it really was cracked." Thomas stopped at a convenience store two exits up the highway to call 911. He said the man had a large four-door sedan built in the 1980s or 1990s. No ballistic evidence was found at the scene of the latest shooting along Interstate 71, but physical evidence links it to the other shootings, Franklin County sheriff's Chief Deputy Steve Martin said. He would not elaborate. Gail Knisley, 62, was fatally wounded Nov. 25 while riding in a car on I-270. No one else has been injured in the shootings. In Thursday's shooting, Michael Thomas, 30, of Columbus, said he saw a person on the overpass, and realized his car had been struck by a bullet when he heard a ping and his windshield cracked, he told police. In his 911 call a few minutes later, Thomas said he saw a figure in his rearview mirror get back in his car and drive off after he passed under the overpass while driving home from his job at an auto-parts company. The serial shootings started in May, although most have occurred since October. Copyright 2004 Associated Press.
