that's not genocide - its vengeance.

It is part of the genocide mindset, just one example I had handy... I'm
not asking for any such thing regarding S-11 attacks... I seek
individual justice.. not group/ethnic justice, killing or genocide.
Governments and regimes can be changed, but the people will remain.

as to the ghetto quote - well - there is a difference - no one is
 forced to
live in these west bank communities - they can take an apt in the
 middle of
Tel Aviv if they want -

be realistic

in the ghettos in Germany and Poland , Jews were not allowed to live
 elsewhere

we're not talking about Jews in Germany/Poland, but the ones who could
afford to, did move to other nations.

The ghettos in Germany and Poland were a precursor to the more radical
genocide which ensued.

It starts with the thinking... the mindset... There was a progression of
sorts.

If anyone learned anything from history...

I consider this thread dead now, I already made more than valid points.

[CTRL] iraq intelligence highlights

2002-01-04 Thread Valued User
full article @:

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=25918

excerpts:

Weapons:

Accepting that U.S., Turkish and Israeli warplanes will command the skies, Iraqi military planners have equipped the new mobile units with state of the art weaponry. According to military intelligence sources, the Republican Guard units were recently handed out the locally manufactured long-range, hand-held laser sidearm, capable of inflicting severe burns and total blindness. This space age system, fitted with a laser rangefinder, can damage its target’s retina and other parts of his body, as well as causing severe internal hemorrhaging. Iraqi forces have been spotted by intelligence practice-firing these devices against low-flying warplanes and helicopters. Their object is to incapacitate pilots and cause enemy aircraft to crash.

Iraq used a primitive version of this laser weapon mounted on tanks in its war against Iran in the late 1980s. Although inexperienced in its operation at the time, Iraqi forces were able to inflict more than 5,000 Iranian casualties, most permanently blinded or victims of internal organ damage.

Additional intelligence information suggests the new Iraqi units are also equipped with tactical chemical weapons, whose precise nature and mode of operation are unknown. Iraq is thought to have prepared large stocks of anti-tank missile tubes, converted to the propulsion of small canisters of Sarin, Tabun and VX nerve and mustard gases onto a battlefield, where they explode and spread their deadly contents over a wide area.

[don't forget the Agent-15 -- much like BZ, a battlefield hallucinogen]

Underground Complex:

According to military sources, the Pentagon has picked northern Iraq as its first ground target for good reason. Intelligence information shows that Saddam and his immediate circle of Baath party leaders have already moved their offices and families to an underground city near the northern oil city of Kirkuk. It is located between the three cities of Tepe Zardic north of Kirkuk, Taq south of Koi Sanjaq, and Chwarta north of Sulmeniyeh. Several intelligence reports place the secret city on the banks of the Lesser Zab River, protected from the east -- the border with Iran -- by the Dukan Dam and Iraq’s largest artificial lake.

According to sources, this subterranean complex was first built as a storage facility for nuclear bombs and explosives. But since 1995, under Saddam’s direction, it has expanded into a network of tunnels, roads, living quarters, offices, communications centers and radio and television facilities, from which the Baath regime expects to continue ruling the country under a U.S. attack.

Members of private Italian engineering firms who sold Iraq industrial components for uranium enrichment in 1993 and 1994 are the only foreigners known to have visited the buried city. After U.S. Special Forces locate its whereabouts, U.S. military tacticians plan to destroy it with the help of the same airborne missiles and bunker-blasting bombs that were fired against Afghanistan’s cave systems – especially the AGM-86 B cruise missile. Following the aerial assault, ground forces will storm the tunnels leading into the secret city.

Clueless in Afghanistan
by Al Martin

Our man in Kabul ("Abdul," not Geraldo) reports the latest news from Afghanistan. The US troops are still trying to integrate with the Afghani peasantry, and even though the CNN-Department of Defense has reported that only one twelve hundred pound crate of food has landed on a hut, killing the people inside, it's not true. There have, in fact, been many incidents like this. Our man didn't know exactly how many there were, but he believes there have been perhaps dozens and dozens of these incidents. Not only have we been smashing their huts, but we have been dropping them on the peasantry's most valuable resource -- their camels. Since the US has been dropping crates of food over populated areas, it's almost impossible not to smash many of their adobe huts.

The mayor of one village said that "every time we see the crates dropping, we sound the village emergency bell, and everyone in the village grabs their camel and runs like hell to the caves." The local peasantry (and I'm not making this up) have begun calling them, "Yabba dabba doo."

"Yabba dabba doo" can be loosely translated as "falling crates that knock down huts and squash camels."

Meanwhile Secretary Rumsfeld has said that the United States is determined to feed the Afghani people. He admits that we're dropping all this stuff on them -- and they don't even know that it's food. They've never seen stuff like this before.

The tribal chieftain was seen holding up an MRE (Meals Ready to Eat) of spaghetti and meatballs. He says that they didn't know what it was, but that they determined finally that it was lamb's brains and tomato sauce. But he said he couldn't figure out why there were little lumps of horseshit in it. He was referring to the meatballs.

One of the crates of food had busted open, and it had what looked like thousands of packages of Kraft's marshmallows. The poor Afghans, of course, don't know a marshmallow from a hole in the wall.

The chieftain was holding the marshmallow and squeezing it. He said that he thought, by the texture of the thing, that it was some sort of suppository.

Since there's a greater American troop presence now, they're going into these Afghani villages to make friends with them and tell them that "we come in peace". And of course, they don't understand any of the local language. When the US went into this thing, we had almost no Arabic-speaking people in the armed forces, and especially none who could speak the local language.

When the troops go in there, the only thing they understand is that they keep hearing the peasants say, "Yabba dabba doo." So now the American troops have nicknamed the Afghan peasants "flintstones." They thought initially that the peasants were trying to communicate with them by saying something humorous, something they heard on TV.

So our troops would yell back at them, "Yabba dabba doo," and immediately all the peasants look up in the sky, then grab their camels and run like hell.

And the American commander says, "We can't figure out what's going on." It's the sheer ineptitude that becomes humorous. We go into these things, and we don't have people that speak the language. Logistically we don't even know where the people are. Our own troops were saying that only half of the Global Positioning Units work at any given time. And they're not being given reliable maps because the Department of Defense didn't even have any.

Then the soldiers say, "Look, half the time we don't know where we are; we don't speak the language; we don't know what's going on."

But the tribal chieftains couldn't understand why we were spoiling good lamb's brains and tomato sauce with lumps of horseshit. Then we're dropping MREs that have macaroni and cheese in them. The Afghans took it as an insult. They thought it looked like vomit in a bag.

Then they showed the beans and franks. Apparently that's the most popular item - the beans and franks. They think the franks are some sort of sheep's member, and that's the one thing that's really valuable because evidently sheep's members are thought to give their virility a boost. So they're much enthralled with the beans and franks.

The very incompetence of our armed forces is what's so humorous. You can't believe what the US Government says about the war in Afghanistan. They said that we accidentally dropped one five hundred pound bomb on a cave -- without realizing that our Northern Alliance allies were inside the cave looking for the Taliban. Inadvertently we sealed our own allies in the cave, and they're making a big to-do about it -- how we're rushing excavation equipment there to dig out our allies, whom we bombed into the cave in the first place.

      Meanwhile,

US Troops Burying WTC
Remnants In Afghanistan
With Carl Limbacher
and NewsMax.com Staff
1-3-2

U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan are leaving behind a special token of America's wrath against Osama bin Laden - remnants from the buildings the terrorist mastermind destroyed on Sept. 11.

"We are burying parts of the World Trade Center in different areas of Afghanistan," NBC newsman Tim Russert told radio host Don Imus Wednesday morning.

"U.S. military personnel, joined by some policemen and firemen in New York, are taking pieces of metal and putting it in the ground as a memorial to those who died."

The NBC Washington bureau chief was referring to a report in Wednesday's USA Today, which revealed:

"At a solemn ceremony Tuesday in the shadow of northern Afghanistan's battlefields, U.S. Army commandos laid to rest a small piece of the World Trade Center.

"It was one of many such services taking place across Afghanistan this week as U.S. fighters try to help bring a small sense of closure to the events of Sept. 11."

"We want the American people to know that (the victims) didn't die in vain, that they have been remembered . . . and that something good can come of this," Master Sgt. John Bolduc told the paper.

China Moves Troops To
Pressure India To Diffuse
Pak War Threat
12-28-1

LAHORE, Pakistan (PNS) - Media reports from India are indicating movement of China's troops along Sino-Indian border. This comes a day after Musharraf, President of Pakistan returned from official tour to China. Indian threats appear to be destabilizing the region.

India has threatened an all out nuclear war on Pakistan and has moved its forces along side border of Pakistan. A large portion of Pakistani army is occupied sealing off western border with Afghanistan and helping United States find members of terrorist organziation Al-Qaida, headed by Osama bin Laden. United States has blamed Al- Qaida for launching deadliest attack on its soil on September 11 this year. Since then Osama bin Ladin has openly accepted responsibility.

India claims two fundamentalist groups based in Kashmir are responsible for a foiled attack on its parliamentary building. Pakistan has assured full cooperation and asked for evidence. So far India has declined to provide evidence or to embark on a joint investigation of the incident. Pakistan claims India engages in state terrorism in part of Kashmir under occupation of 700,000 Indian paramilitary forces citing gross human rights violations documented by Amnesty International.

Pakistan supports the Kashmiri freedom struggle and right of self-determination in Kashmiri which it believes should be part of Pakistan according to 1947 partition plan. Last war between China and India took place in 1965. All three countries China, India and Pakistan have nuclear capability.

Indian war threats are likely to divert Pakistan's resources and impede United States led global war on terrorism.

Those pictures show BOTH TOWERS. The impression of it being the same
tower comes from the angle of the sun and the over-exposure of the shot

illusion. Now, the real kicker is regarding the ground floor
explosions... I don't have the details, but I did see some footage of
ground action-debris-and-what-not just before or as the tower was
collapsing in other footage... sorry don't have a reference or link. I'm
sure somebody on this list knows about it.

what about that gas/something-or-other tank for the crisis ops center
that giuliani had built?

American soldiers wage charm offensive in northern Afghan city

http://www.abcnews.go.com/wire/World/ap20011225_62.html
The Associated Press

MAZAR-E-SHARIF, Afghanistan (AP) The U.S. Army soldiers stopped their van suddenly in the middle of a busy intersection, beckoned to the Afghan officer directing traffic from atop a concrete podium and handed him a shiny, new whistle.

The officer, who had been using a black-and-white striped club to keep traffic flowing, smiled at the soldiers, jammed the gift into his mouth and whistled them along.

Mission accomplished for a small team of Americans waging a sort of charm offensive in the northern Afghan city of Mazar-e-Sharif.

The soldiers have been handing out notebooks at schools, visiting refugee camps and playing with children in the streets, helping where they can with limited resources.

When they noticed the traffic officers did not have whistles, they went out and bought some.

"It gives them back the authority that's needed," said Bob, a member of the four-man civil affairs team that falls under the umbrella of the U.S. Special Forces.

Bob, a sergeant first class, and the other members of the team would identify themselves only by rank and first name.

"It's a U.S. presence to show we're here on friendly terms," said Herb, the captain heading the team. "If they see us, talk to us and we meet the people, by doing that, it shows that we're people, too, and they understand what we're doing."

The U.S. soldiers in town the Army has declined to reveal how many are already popular for helping throw out the Taliban, who allegedly massacred thousands of residents when they seized control of Mazar-e-Sharif in 1998.

Children cheer the Americans. Men line up to shake their hands. One Special Forces soldier impressed a crowd when he joined in the traditional game of buzkushi, jostling on horseback with other riders trying to grab a decapitated goat.

"They brought peace to us. They helped us," said Lal Mohammed, 37, chief of the Sahi refugee camp just outside Mazar-e-Sharif.

As he spoke, some U.S. soldiers were checking to make sure a Red Cross food distribution was going smoothly. Others were teaching kids new handshakes.

"We're not here to occupy. We're here to help. And especially the kids. We don't want them afraid of us, and they're not," said Herb.

When Herb stopped in the market Monday to buy notebooks and pencils to give out to students, he also got bubble gum for the street children, wishing the Muslim youngsters "Merry Christmas" as they mobbed him.

The captain was an imposing figure when he walked into a classroom dressed in desert camouflage, an M-16 rifle hanging across his back and a pistol strapped to his leg.

But in a city used to warriors and guns, none of the children at the dilapidated Star School flinched. They dutifully stood up one by one to recite their ABCs or count to 10 at his request.

Then the Army team passed out notebooks and pencils to each child.

Teachers thanked the men, but also sought help for other pressing needs desks and chairs, books and blackboards. Many students were absent because they did not have warm clothes or shoes, principal Uzra Wahizy said.

"They should rescue us from this situation," she said.

Herb took notes on their problems, which he will pass on to local aid agencies stretched too thin by the task of trying to feed and house people in the cold winter to visit schools now. He also appealed for private donations.

The team also has visited hospitals, power plants and refugee camps to assess their needs for the aid agencies.

"You want to do more but there's not a lot you can do," Herb said, pointing out that his team has a limited budget and the Army is not an aid organization.

[CTRL] FWD: FOX Pulls 4pt Spy Story

Fox News Pulls Its Four-Part
Israeli US Phone Spying Series

Michael Rivero
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
12-22-1

Fox News just yanked the four part story about the phone spying scandal.

This has become absurd.

Here the FBI has just uncovered the largest spy ring ever discovered in our country, and the government that owns and operates that spy network is able to tell Fox News NOT to report the story?

Will someone explain to me what is going on when the nation that owns the largest spy ring ever discovered inside the United States is, even AFTER that spy ring is discovered and arrested, able to tell Fox News what stories they can and cannot run?

We need to get this to as many people as possible. Clearly, the Mossad has a huge network of people able to call and complain to Fox News to remove the story. We must muster an even greater number of people to call Fox News and DEMAND the full and complete story be put back on the web site and on the air.

Please email everyone on your activist list and post the news about this most egregious censorship, about Fox caving in on this story, to every public forum you can.

Have everyone on your activist list call Fox News to demand the return of the story, then phone ten of their activist friends and have THEM phone Fox News.
