-Caveat Lector- Those pictures show BOTH TOWERS. The impression of it being the same tower comes from the angle of the sun and the over-exposure of the shot which 'minimizes' the separation between the buildings. This has been discussed in many other forums and is only an optical/photographic illusion. Now, the real kicker is regarding the ground floor explosions... I don't have the details, but I did see some footage of ground action-debris-and-what-not just before or as the tower was collapsing in other footage... sorry don't have a reference or link. I'm sure somebody on this list knows about it.
