Well, then, here's a company for you. The Carlyle Group, a Washington, D.C., buyout firm, is one of the nation's largest defense contractors. It has billions of dollars at its disposal and employs a few important people. Maybe you've heard of them: former Secretary of State Jim Baker, former Secretary of Defense Frank Carlucci, and former White House budget director Dick Darman. Wait, we're just getting warmed up. William Kennard, who recently headed the FCC, and Arthur Levitt, who just left the SEC, also work for Carlyle. As do former British Prime Minister John Major and former Philippines President Fidel Ramos. Let's see, are we forgetting anyone? Oh, right, former President George Herbert Walker Bush is on the payroll too. The firm also has about a dozen investors from Saudi Arabia, including, until recently, the bin Laden family. Yes, those bin Ladens. Is it any wonder that Internet sites with names like paranoiamagazine.com are rife with stories about Carlyle's shadowy, corrupt global network? And it's not just wackos. "Be careful," a tech entrepreneur in Silicon Valley wrote in an e-mail when he learned I was doing a story on Carlyle. "The rabbit hole runs really deep on this one.'' Leaving aside the conspiracies for a moment, what exactly does the Carlyle Group do? Start with the basics: It's one of the world's largest and most powerful private-equity investment firms, meaning it buys and sells privately held companies and divisions of large public companies for big profits. Founded in 1987 (and named after the favorite New York hotel of the firm's first investors, the Mellon family), Carlyle has raised a total of $14 billion from investors in just the past five years--more than any other private-equity firm has attracted in the same period, except the Blackstone Group and CSFB Private Equity. Profits, too, have been pretty terrific. Not counting the standard 20% cut that goes to Carlyle's partners and managing directors, the firm's average annual rate of return has been 36%. It's quite a success story, and to understand how Carlyle pulled it off, FORTUNE spent a month and a half peeking down that rabbit hole. One conclusion seems clear: While most of the conspiracy theories are amusingly overblown, this is a firm that's been built on the backs of Bush and other big shots who have lent Carlyle their names, their golden networks of friends in high places, and their insights into how government works. It wasn't until Carlucci joined, for instance, that Carlyle really took off. Founded by David Rubenstein, a lawyer who worked as an aide in the Carter White House, Bill Conway, a former CFO at MCI, and Dan D'Aniello, a former finance executive for Marriott, Carlyle early on invested in a motley assortment of deals--buying an airline-catering business, a health-food chain, and a biotech firm, for example. In 1990, Carlucci got the trio interested in the $150-billion-a-year U.S. defense industry, making introductions to companies that would turn into some of Carlyle's most lucrative investments. Rubenstein quickly realized the wisdom of recruiting a former Secretary of Defense and followed it up with a former Secretary of State, then a former White House budget director, and on and on. The revolving door has long been a fact of life in Washington, but Carlyle has given it a new spin. Instead of toiling away for a trade organization or consulting firm for a measly $250,000 a year, former government officials can rake in serious cash by getting equity cuts on corporate deals. We want our women and girls educated, free to marry whom they please, able to dress in any way they please and with the ability to leave their homes unaccompanied by any male. We want our men to be shaved or not according to their choice, bare headed according to choice. We are for the most part very tolerant people and welcome folk from every nation under the sun of whatever belief, creed, colour. What we do not like is having other people's views forced on us. Our way of life has evolved over centuries and for the most part we live in harmony with our fellows. Of course there are intolerant people in any society, but one's intolerance is limited by the law here, not by baton wielding thugs. Are you trying to make a point here which I am just missing? I too have daughters, older than your youngster but the thought fills me with horror that anyone would try to inflict the Muslim way of life on them. And I have grandsons growing up being taught respect for women. I see the occasional woman here clothed from head to foot in their burkas and I feel so sorry for them. Honest Abe's nothing more than the ill-conceived imaginings of a backwoods
lawyer who was a mentally ill hypochondriac and who, in addition to
suffering from depression was suffering delusions? After all, who in his
right mind would conceive of such fanciful notions? Conspiracy, indeed! Have
the Jews ever conspired to anything in all their history?
Keeping in mind that Lincoln was soon to plunge this young nation into war,
is it conceivable that such a venture could be achieved by the railings of
one deluded soul who was going around stumping his way to the Presidency by
concocting some hair-brained idea that there was an international conspiracy
to nationalize slavery?
Keeping in mind that Lincoln was soon to openly defy the International Jews
by printing the debt free and tax free "greenback dollar", it is difficult
to imagine that Lincoln was the sort of fool he is so often made out to be
by supposedly respectable, authoritative and "accepted" historians. Of
course we must ask ourselves who are the people who are accepting these
histories that denounce Lincoln's Conspiracy Theory?
They couldn't possibly be Jews and their proselytes could they? American
historical societies and American history books abound with accounts of the
assassination of Lincoln that make mockery of the Lincoln Conspiracy Theory
and it is these accounts that the Jews find "acceptable". In fact even the
Cuomo/Holzer Book "Lincoln On Democracy" fails to make clear that it was
Lincoln's June 16, 1858 speech in Springfield in which Lincoln repeatedly
charged that the Dred Scott decision was merely part of a larger conspiracy
to nationalize slavery. The real underlying reasons for the existence of the
American freedom fighters (freesoilers as they were called then) has long
been removed from the history shelves. And, of course, very little is ever
said about the Lincoln "greenback dollar" and the importance of the
"abolitionist movement" and the Republican Party, which Lincoln was soon to
head as President. Yet, it is quite unimaginable to think for a moment that
Old Honest Abe could possibly have gained the Presidential nomination, much
less won the election, if there had not been very widespread and general
understanding and agreement with the Conspiracy Theory being vocalized by
Mr. Lincoln. Clearly, Old Abe did not "invent" the Conspiracy Theory of
which he so eloquently spoke. Quite the contrary, Old Abe was a gifted
orator who spoke on behalf of the masses of people who thronged to hear him
speak and give him the support he needed to become President.
Keeping in mind that international commerce was in full bloom and that the
international money lenders were desperately struggling then, as they are
now, to secure their global control of the debt/tax money printing business,
it is not difficult to understand why Old Abe posed a real threat to them
when he defiantly printed the "greenback dollar" without debt and without
taxes and without servitude to the bankers. The success of the Lincoln
greenback dollar would have spelled doom and disaster for the "slave's yoke
of international capital and its masters, the Jews". The Jews had to stop

Standing on the rim of Pit No. 10 at the Belacevac mine, Radakovic peered through binoculars and saw the KLA on the horizon. ``It was a hard feeling,'' he said. ``All I could think about was how to save my workers.'' The rebels moved into the 4-square-mile mine from the west. Radakovic pulled his employees out to the east in 2 1/2 frantic hours, saving nearly 100. But the rebels attacked a van bringing in workers for the afternoon shift. Three Serb miners and the driver, 31-year-old Zvonomir Stepic - coming to work unwarned and unaware - were kidnapped. As best as Radakovic could tell, the rebel force numbered several hundred. They were gloating, using the dispatcher's two-way radio at the mine administration to taunt the Serbs and curse them. ``Go back to Serbia,'' the rebel voice would say. Serbs are a minority in this province, outnumbered before the war 9-to-1 by ethnic Albanians. Stepic's father, Zivojin, said his son headed off for work unconcerned, despite the army and police withdrawal that has put Kosovo's Serbs on edge. ``We knew the army was withdrawing, but we didn't worry,'' he said. ``We expected NATO to protect the workers.'' Serb civilians have been pouring out of areas in northern and western Kosovo where the KLA is active. As many as 8,000 arrived in neighboring Montenegro on Sunday. The kidnappings at the mine and Serb media reports of four separate KLA attacks in Pristina on Sunday could change that feeling of security. NATO is in Kosovo to assure the safe return of 860,000 ethnic Albanians driven from the province by Serb forces and to keep the peace. The international force also is supposed to demilitarize the KLA, but just how it will do that is unclear. Peacekeeping troops are streaming into the province, but the job of establishing control is complex and time-consuming. Just a day earlier, military and police officials in Pristina had assured him there would be no security vacuum at the mine, a critical link in the electric power supply system that the KLA had seized for several weeks last year. AS LONG AS THE BANK OF ENGLAND, INTERLOCKED WITH THE FED/IMF/WORLD BANK INTEREST/DEBT/TAX SLAVERY MONEY SYSTEM RULES AMERICA ALL OTHER LEGAL QUESTIONS ARE MOOT. CONSIDER THIS: The standard, Judeo-christian interpretation of Matthew 25:14-30 is that the slave master is the good guy and the disobedient slave is the bad guy. On closer analysis of this text, in the context that Jesus, who was, by standard Jewish/Judeo-christian accounts, a rebelious slave himself, the text must be analyzed from the point of view that either Jesus, like the rebellious slave in this text, is either the good guy or the bad guy. If we assume that Jesus is the good guy then it logically follows that the rebellious slave, not the slave master, in the Mathew 25:14-30 text, is also the good guy, which turns topsy-turvy the notion that earning profit on money is good. The economic and financial implications of this little twist of theological thinking has immense and far reaching implications regarding the conflict between capitalists, communists, international socialists, and nationalists, particularly national socialists. When the Matthew 25:14-30 text is analyzed in the broader framework of various philosophical views about money, particularly Aristotle's contention that money is sterile and that it is morally bankrupt to earn profit on money, it puts the modern economic notion that money is not economically productive, and hence not part of the economic equation, into central focus and brings to the front burner the fundamental global conflict now going on as a result of the Zionist NATO attempt to expand the IMF/World bank interest/debt/tax slavery money system into Eastern Europe. Considering that America is bankrupt, it is only a matter of time until the global monetary system must come to terms with what Karl Marx called finance capital and what Adolph Hitler called the slave's yoke of international capital and its masters, the Jews. The root of this global conflict rests in Deuteronomy 15:6 and in what Islam calls the Deuteronomic Double Standard where the Bible teaches that it is morally wrong for Jews to pay interest but it is morally right for Jews to charge interest (the meliorated slavery scenario moralized by the Bible). Those who are militant anti-communists need to understand that Karl Marx did not invent the slogan from each according to his ability, to each according to his need, he mearly took it out of Acts 2:45. It is time for Christian Theologians to do a serious re-think of what Christianity is really all about. Matthew 25:14-30 must be the starting point for any scholarly analysis of the economic and financial teachings of Jesus. There is an old saying that a really good conspiracy can not be proven. There is also an old saying that where there's smoke, there's fire. I see a whole lot of smoke. What I would like to do with this message is to try focus on the fire, or the root cause of the smoke, which is, in part, what my books are about. Based on a 5 day, 40 hour work week, that comes to 24.6 work weeks. If the average taxpayer gets 2.8 weeks holiday time each year that means that exactly HALF OF THE AVERAGE TAXPAYER'S LABOUR GOES TO PAY TAXES. When one takes into consideration the amount of labour hours required to pay the INTEREST on the home mortgage, the INTEREST on the car payments, the INTEREST on the credit card, and the INTEREST on the multitude of other consumer purchases made; and, when one considers the built-in price increases added on to the market prices of products to pay the INTEREST on corporate and other business DEBT; and, when one considers the amount of money taken out of the take-home packet of labour to pay the DEBT on the home mortgage, the DEBT on the car, DEBT on the credit card, and the DEBT on the multitude of other consumer and capital acquisition debts owed by labour to the MONEYCHANGERS, the only logical conclusion one can come to is that INTEREST, DEBT AND TAXES ARE PURE UNADULTERATED SLAVERY OF LABOUR. The idea that Marxism is a theory of liberation or it is nothing is rooted in the Marxian theory of the exploitation of labour, a theory which is supposedly rooted in the fundamental rejection of all forms of slavery, including financial slavery, tax slavery and, indeed, all forms of debt/tax slavery. As the world watches the Russian system of STATE CAPITALISM being converted back into PRIMITIVE CAPITALISM, it becomes readily apparent that Marxism has never existed at any time in the Soviet Union nor does Marxism exist anywhere in the world today, and, that merely swinging the pendulum back and forth between vulgar communism and primitive capitalism is not going to solve the problem of the exploitation of labour. Raya Dunayevskaya made a profoundly important statement in her book Marxism and Freedom when she said that there is a veritable conspiracy to identify Marxism, a theory of liberation, with its opposite, Communism (meaning what Karl Marx called Vulgar Communism). While the general awakening to the idea of vulgar communism seems to have served as a guiding light for the rejection of State Capitalism in the now defunct Soviet Union, from the way things have been developing in Eastern Europe and Russia, however, the struggle for freedom has resulted more in opening up the freedom for the debt/tax slavemasters of the earth to exploit and enslave the working class than to free the working class from exploitation and slavery. Blaming Nationalism as the villain in the Balkan dilemma (or in any of the other struggles by peoples for freedom and independence from exploitation and slavery) is, at best, a propaganda ploy necessary to keep the IMF/World Bank/International Corporate System in global control of the exploitation and debt/tax slavery of all peoples and nations. However, there is no reason on God's earth why each nation or state (or union of nations or states) can not print their own debt free and tax free money for the creation of debt free and tax free business and industrial TRADE with one another and other nations. It is profoundly important, however, to make it unquestionably clear that FAIR trade between nations is an impossibility when foreign investment owns and controls the land, labour and capital of those nations and peoples who would otherwise be free. In fact, rather than Nationalism being the villain, the villain preventing the creation of genuine economic freedom for all people, not only in Russia and the Balkans but everywhere else as well, is the global debt/tax slavery money system which has its roots deeply embedded in Bible Slave Law. Even the New Democrats distanced themselves from Mr. Robinson and the petition. On Wednesday, Alexsia McDonough, senior NDP leader, reprimanded Robinson for introducing a measure "which was not the position of the party." "He (Robinson) was advancing a position that was immensely controversial and rejected by the party," said McDonough, "and we felt that it was very important to both make clear that this is not the position of the party... He has been reprimanded and it is very much our desire to move on." Party officials also criticized Robinson for presenting the petition in conjunction with a television appearance, which generated a tidal wave of media curiosity. Nelson Riis, also an NDP Member, described the petition as "absolutely stupid," and characterized Robinson's move as "disgusting" and reflecting "poor political judgment." Ms.McDonough rose before the news cameras and House to declare, "Today, together with my NDP caucus, I reaffirm our party's continuing support for the inclusion in Canada's Constitution of the preamble referring to the supremacy of God." Others rose in support of McDonough, including Progressive Conservative MP Elsie Wayne who insisted, "This country has been going in the wrong direction for a long time, and for the first time in 132 years you can't say the Lord's Prayer in the House of Commons. This country was built on good moral, Christian values." Wayne ominously warned, "You open the door to all the different cultures, you ask them to come in, you welcome them here.
