-Caveat Lector- There's a high probability that Blake will be convicted whether he is actually guilty or not. Popular culture today reflects a majority opinion that OJ walking was a national (judicial) disgrace - and Blake will likely pay the price as a consequence. - Original Message - From: Tenorlove [EMAIL PROTECTED] I remember right after Blake's wife was killed, someone posted to this list that they thought he did it. Well Sam, I just think that once again the LAPD is looking for that high-profile arrest. Look, they are NOW claiming that Blake shot her himself...don't you think that that would've been pretty obvious, if true, after the initial forensics came back? Yes, Blake is/was an oddball...he has a temper I guess and reputation...but never for violence! And these "special circumstances" that expose him to the death penalty..."lying in wait"...c'mon!! The D.A. ought to laugh that right out of the case provided they have ANY integrity. The victim here had too many people that she'd screwed...not necessarily literally...she had many people who simply HATED her...Blake is the fall guy, like OJ...and hopefully justice will triumph again out west, even though when it does it's ridiculed. Bill.

-Caveat Lector- In a message dated 10/10/2000 6:35:24 PM Eastern Daylight Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: Should Gov. Bush win in November he should bring forward and promote soldiers and civilians who understand military essentials and the absolute necessity of readiness and training, people both colorful and drab, but who would, all of them, understand that these words of Gen. George S. Patton are the order of the day: Promotions in the military fall to the best of the mediocre. Sad but truthful. The guys with real talent wash as captains, because there is nothing that strikes more terror in the heart of a guy bucking for colonel than the arrival of a captain with great potential. This same attitude kept guys like Bull Simon from becoming a general.Congress tried innumerable times to make him a general, but the generals wouldn't allow it. Maybe that's what kept "Captain" Eddie Rickenbacker a captain. After all that was Air Force captain not Navy. Come into the war a hero, and watch what we do to you. Nobody has ever been able to tell me why Eddie wasn't ever promoted. I imagine it was the will of all the generals. And that was during WWII when we had a normal number of generals. Now we have so many they outnumber the privates. The enormous number of generals makes keeping them housed and happy a really expensive proposition. Then they all think they're important, so they all want aides and lots of reports. Then they all play golf, and it's necessary to keep the greens properly and schedule TDYs at the proper time to take advantage of mixing work and pleasure. You know, an inspection trip just at the time when something special is going to be going on near the point of inspection. Congress takes and wastes the biggest hunk of the military budget, sending it to their friends in Industry. Let's have another stealth bomber that can't fly in the rain. Oh yes, an if there's any need to defend the Bush family oil contracts, let's declare war and get rid of our outdated ammo--especially the stuff with the depleted uranium. Tell me more about how Clinton has neglected the military. Prudy A HREF="http://www.ctrl.org/"www.ctrl.org/A DECLARATION DISCLAIMER == CTRL is a discussion informational exchange list. Looking at the grand show and all the undercurrents, I mean there are more subplots than ER and all the other new trendy fast paced 'soaps', there does seem to be methodology to the chaos. What makes this seem like a possibility is that Ron Goldman's roommate was either murdered or "vanished" or both something like a week before what has become known as the O.J. murders. For such a prominent figure to commit such a grisly crime, he/she would have to be or go totally psycho...and I don't see any signs of that, despite the battering incident. Many Hollywood marriages are very violent (lots of jealousy and suspicions whirling around re infidelities, success, money, etc.) Just my opinion, in spite of Jay Leno's nightly jokes about O.J. as a killer. ( You have to wonder if NBC has a stake in the crime.) But worth considering. Re: [CTRL] OJ
-Caveat Lector- [EMAIL PROTECTED] in brackets: I assume you're referring to my post about Ron Goldman and his friends. There has been some question about who was the real object of this murder and that Nicolle Simpson may have been the "bystander" --not Goldman. This is partially argued by Stephen Singular in "Legacy of Deception". I think it may be correct to a degree: that the killers were trying to take care of two birds with one stone (or 3, if you include the framing of OJ.) What makes this seem like a possibility is that Ron Goldman's roommate was either murdered or "vanished" or both something like a week before what has become known as the O.J. murders. I have also read that three or four other young men--homosexuals? waiters at the restaurant (Mezaluna?) --have also been murder victims. At the time of the murders, Goldman was in the process of opening another restaurant (in Arizona?) and there are many questions about his involvement in drugs. It wasn't a week before, but there are indeed numerous deaths of young men associated with Goldman (not all were from Mezaluna.) It is heavily rumored from underground sources that Goldman and his friends were racking up big gambling losses. Drugs also appears part of it. As for the homosexual angle, there may be something to it after all: I've been told from good sources that Ronald Goldman was involved in gay softcore porno films. In fact, there were many strange murders surrounding the trial--please don't ask me to be specific because I can't remember the details. At least one reporter was killed and Dominic Dunne's son was, I believe, kidnapped. None of this was reported in the press, or if it was, it was passed over quickly in back pages. Both of these are correct. It was a Philadelphia Inquirer reporter who was working on the case. As for Dunne, he sure is a fishy character. Where did I read this? In Sherman Skolnick's reports which you might be able to find at Brian Redman's website. And at http://www.konformist.com/skolnick/skolnick.htm . Nothing on OJ there, though, at least not yet.
