[czernowitz-l] Re: [czernowitz-l] Back to School in Bucharest (2022-05-04/07 • 2,295 km)

2022-05-07 Thread Asher Turtel
When we returned from Transnistria in 1945, we found again the Soviet
regime. My father decided that he do not want to live with the Russians. We
smugled (if it is correct to say so) the border in to south Bukowina. After
a few month we setled in Bucharest. There in the years 47, 48 and 49 I
attended the Jewish scool Roneti Roman which was located in a synagogue. In
1950 I attended a scool in Israel.

[czernowitz-l] Back to School in Bucharest (2022-05-04/07 • 2,295 km)

2022-05-07 Thread Edgar Hauster
Czernowitzers, dear friends,

Bucharest, the sixth stage of my Journey to and „Along the New Iron Curtain“.
Let's go to school together, to the brand new German School Bucharest (DSBU)
and 50-60 years back to the German School on Nuferilor Street (today General
Berthelot Street):

2022:
http://hauster.blogspot.com/2022/05/back-to-school-in-bucharest-2022-05.html

2017:
https://hauster.blogspot.com/2017/06/back-to-school-in-bucharest-2434-km.html

I definitely know that quite a few of our members, like me, attended the German
School in Bucharest. Don't be afraid, come out, most of us came up in the world!

Enjoy, next stop: Galati
