Re: [darktable-user] Calling binaries
I just can’t get this to work! I’ve looked at the file structure and there’s no sign of darktable-cmstest in the same folder/directory as darktable-bin, darktable-chart, darktable-cli, etc. Shouldn’t it be there? I’m using 2.2.5 on a Mac. It looks like the new additions at github are getting pushed to the sourceforge master branch db periodically, which means that if a lens was added at github very recently, it may not appear at sourceforge yet. Aside from that, the sourceforge files have probably been better checked for any possible errors, etc, and are probably the best bet. In either case, you should probably make the following changes to the .xml file: Remove the DOCTYPE declaration on the first line and change the version to "1" in the line that follows otherwise darktable may not like them (you'll see a warning on the console output). You might want to put any that you add this way into ~/.local/share/lensfun directly, rather than the updates directory, to prevent it being clobbered by future runs of lensfun-update-data (although hopfully any future successful updates using this method would make the added file redundant anyway). -- jys darktable user mailing list to unsubscribe send a mail to darktable-user+unsubscr...@lists.darktable.org

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, Patrick. What do you mean by: “provided your paths are correctly set”? Does that mean I have to change directories to somewhere? Where? [darktable-user] Calling binaries
Hi, I use darktable on a Mac and I’d be interested to know how to call binaries. In particular, I’d like to use darktable-cmstest. I’m comfortable using Terminal but just not sure how to do this. Thanks in advance for any help. Paul. darktable user mailing list to unsubscribe send a mail to darktable-user+unsubscr...@lists.darktable.org
